But if they performed before Jurassic 5 doesn't that contradict the point that it matters what the order of show performance is? Because clearly Bone is a more legendary and bigger group than Jurassic 5, even though I like and respect Jurassic 5 too. As I said Rakim performed before Tech 9 too....

No way you can spin Bone being a bigger group than Wu when they are on several Wu headlined shows and performing before or on the same level as acts like Jurassic 5, Lecrae, and Dom Kennedy. There was a youtube video of one of these shows and Bone was performing when there still was people still making there way into the venue. Wu performed hours later when the place was filled and rocking.
I'm not saying Bone are a bigger group, I haven't even thought about who's bigger between them like that. I imagine now Wu Tang would be bigger, but Bone during their run was probably more commercially successful and popular. I just don't think the placement on the shows defines who's better or more legendary, as it can be a current thing also. Like if Wu or any of the members were to perform before artists or groups that are less iconic or popular than them that wouldn't take anything away from them to me.

I see what you're saying but the question was raised as to why Bone didn't get to the point Wu-tang is NOW. How big each group was in relation to each other when they both were selling millions of albums is irrelevant in this conversation and that's what you keep bringing up. Throughout the years Wu expanded their brand and cemented themselves as larger cultural icons. And you continue to downplay their set position at shows. Wu garner A level status on basically every show they perform at. Bone were consistently given set positions, at Wu headlined shows, before C level hip hop artists. Facts is just facts.
Biggest song was glorifying living on goverment assistance and you nikkas ate it up like free cheese
There are at least 5 more well known songs that I would put ahead of that one.
