I think what stopped Bone was the niccas solo careers.
Like with the Wu, when they dropped an album for the most part Most were successful and got that mainstream love or attention.
Meth, Rae, Ghost, ODB, Rza, Gza, hell even Cappadonna and he like the 6th man status.
I dont recall anyone from Bone solo doing well, not even sure if they got more ground than say UGod or Deck or Masta Killa.
Like the main 6 I name today could come to any city (ODB included if living) and headline a show in a mid to high level venue.
But if you heard that say Wish Bone was headlining a show tonight in your town you know damn well you or no one else would go!
They wouldnt even get a crowd if say it was Wish Bone and Lazie Bone
Now say you hear "Ghost and Rae" tonight.... there is a much bigger buzz.
Everyone from the Wu got atleast 2-3 solo bangers that everyone knows and loves.
No one in Bone has really one. I know Krayzie out of all of them tried to stay the busiest and most relevant but not even his efforts was enough

I addressed this before (not sure if it was this thread)
I said Bone made the critical mistake of waiting till after they peaked and started to decline for them to start dropping solo albums.
Wu tang dropped 5-6 solo albums between their first and second album
While Bone didnt drop ANY solos till they were between their 3rd/4th album.
BTW, according to RIAA even with the solos from both camps included,bone still outdid them
But why would this matter? they sold millions of records and outsold Wu. Surely that means that more people give a fukk about Bone than Wu in real life so those solos should have found a home among the tons of Bone fans

Again, why does this matter? You've said that those solos were flops no one cared about and nowhere as great as The East Coast Conspiracy says it is. If they made no noise like you said they didn't, then it's pretty much like they didn't drop anything.

bone had the singles that blew up and pushed the sales of the ep and the first lp, but as far as quality i dont think either album compares on any level to wu's first. at the same time wu is a crew that gets treated as a group when its convenient adding to their aura of dominance which shouldnt necessarily be the case. 8 or 9 skilled mc's and u-god sounds good on paper but aint many tracks with even half the group on it.
