All you have to do is look at the example of Joey Badass to know how constantly releasing throwaway tracks and a mixtape here or there can have a cooling affect on your hype. Joey Badass's mixtapes and releases haven't even been trash, just too close together so he sounds the same. Kendrick will not flop, I struggled to see how his album would be able to top or come near section.80 but it did. OD is a fukking dope tape too. Like i said, no one says shyt when Em ghosts for months.

Drake lost his depth since so far so gone and comeback season he's a hit maker now so he can come out with all this stuff but he don't got subject matter anymore it's all money this my crew that, I got bytches like that and sometimes bytches hurt me, Kendrick makes concepts about his albums section 80 discussing the Ragen generation, Good Kid Maad city his autobiographical story. It takes time to come up with subject matter and content to your music and this is what seperates Kendrick from these new nikkaz these new nikkas can continue you to feed you nikkaz because they rap about the same shyt and don't take the time to put subject matter and content in there music. Quality shyt takes time and should not be rushed.

Control really was a gift and a curse for Kendrick. A gift because he showed he is one of the most lyrical and more elite Emcess out there right now. And it was a curse because now it seems like folks turned on him, especially the Drake fans who feel he "dissed" him when all he said was that he was going to out rap. NOW i be hearing that GKMC is "overrated" and all of Kendrick's albums and verses are "forgettable" and its like
