That's the problem. Heels shouldn't be out there selling merchandise. JBL is probably one of the last traditional heels in recent memory and one of those reasons is because he didn't sell merchandise and didn't have any fan friendly moves.

-Don't make the babyfaces act like heels. Recently I felt sorry for goddamn Elias Samson, I don't like him, but something about seeing a guy lose his job and having the "good" guy break his most cherished possession his guitar for no reason made me feel for the guy.
-If heels are indy work horses they need to tone their work rate down. Kevin Owens for example has an insane work rate. I was watching him vs Roman Reigns with my nephew, my nephew a 7 year old came in rooting for Reigns, ended up rooting for KO, why? as he said "KO is fighting harder".
-Don't be friendly or funny on social media. Rusev is a good example of this, he's shown himself to be a down to earth guy playing video games and listening to Biggie Smalls. Either post in character or avoid posting.

The other thing is, heels can't do heelish things of the past because of corporate sponsors. For example, when Daniel Bryan was choking out Justin Roberts during the Nexus Invasion, he got fired over it. Cokeboy loved the spot, but had to dismiss him briefly to appease the sponsors who were complaining.

The job of the heel is to draw money because people want to see him lose, and to get the Babyface over.More like legit X-Pac heat.
Literally, the biggest match WWE COULD book would be a champion reigns vs AJ styles at mania. Even if they change N O T H I N G about their characters. If you think Reigns is a face that is failing, you're being worked, he is a heel that is working at this point. Fans hate him and want to see him lose. If you book him vs anyone THEY are a babyface.
All because Strowman and other heels don't like him, doesn't make reigns a babyface. He went out Monday, shyt on the crowd saying he had them in the palm of his hand without even saying it, and walked off. Reigns is the biggest heel in wwe.
