A lot of drugs and bodies like The Wire still filming![]()
I grew up there right across from Clifton Park. Same strip I used to sell weed on in the late 90s early 00s is still one of the best strips to cop weed in the city. It was decent growing up. A lot of families. I grew up around a ton of kids. Crack decimated the area tho. I saw it happen right in front of my eyes. It might be one of the worse areas in the city now. I’ve lived in the northeast corner of the city my entire life. Im in Cedonia now which is mostly middle class homeowners but has more than it’s fair share of fukkery depending on the streetBelair-Edison is one of them? I remember riding through it to get to an open campus tour of Morgan State. Seemed like a pretty interesting neighborhood with its own type of vibe

The other side of the golf course on Harford Road was always worse. But yea your right about the liquor stores. I was drinking St Ides and Olde English at 14. The Cedonia Inn and Stadium Lounge on Greenmount didn’t card eitherAs a kid I always thought that was a nice around there because y'all had a golf course in y'all neighborhood. I know my neighborhood had its fair share of fukkery. Belair Edison had some of the best house parties in high school tho: the liquor stores around there didn't card nikkaz.

@FukYaFeelings Hit up the Great Blacks In Wax Museum. I would say hit up Everyone’s Place Bookstore afterwards but due to COVID, it’s no walk-ins only curbside pick up. Both of them are on North Avenue and are two of the greatest Black cultural institutions not only in Baltimore but the whole East Coast in general.
you not from Chicago breh cut it out..sounding like you get yo info from watching fox news or sum shyt
its plenty of areas in the city you can go to and not worry about getting killed

fhats not what I mean. I mean better in the sense you can visit Baltimore and do the right thing and not feel scared. In chicago u can literally get killed anywhere....even downtown. Folks go to the harbor and just know they gotta stay there and don’t venture out into the “hood”
