I feel like I've seen a Sean John store in the Atlanta Airport....so someone is still buying it. Maybe Rocawear has fallen off, but Sean John is still seemingly going strong.

Then why aren't Sean John and Rocawear popping?Just No! Brands and logos are all a wave now and has been for a minute. It’s the reason why Adidas, Tommy, Guess and CK are so popping right
It’s also why Gucci has a stranglehold on the designer clothes
It’s also why Supreme, Off White and others demand is at a fever pitch
Because their clothes don’t fit the aesthetic of today. Then why aren't Sean John and Rocawear popping?

I like this too. I need one just above my belly button. This will always be a classic:

would wear it today if the cut was better.
Macy's is not the leading edge of authority on fashionWell I ain't knocking Ecko by any means because I used to rock Ecko heavy in my 20's. I think Ecko filing for bankruptcy years back might have hurt they rep. SJ has been in Macy's almost 20 yrs.
I'm pushing near 40 so Idc to even keep up w/brands anymore.
shyt is a slight step up from JCP in most locations except for their select upscale/flagship locations in places like SF etc. rocawear is perfect for me in 2018... the shorts are good for my tires and the shirts are good for wiping down my car after car wash

Just cuz it's there and people buy it doesn't make it in style. The women's section got plenty sections of clothing like charter club full ofAll that damn floor space that section takes up, somebody is buying it so it cant be "faded out".
attire, every piece of clothing (and person) isn't fashionable/trendy/in style.Because their clothes don’t fit the aesthetic of today.
Rocawear was sold to the company that makes Clothes for Walmart and Kmart. I don’t know how SJ is operating these days

It has to do with those logos...Those logos aren’t seen as hip todaySo it has nothing to do with big logos then
Because my follow up to this was all that Balenciaga shyt isn't big logo, it's all about the designs and the fit. You take the SJ and RW logos off their clothes, it's basic Kmart shyt. Not just now, but back when they were hot. Yea there are some things like the Chanel logo, and Gucci's throwback line, but fashion today is about design, not brands
High end been in since the 90's. Cartier, Chanel, Versace, Rolex, Ralph Lauren, misappropriation of Gucci, lv, fendi, etc monogram prints. Urban wear was more visable since rappers/labels could put their name on a product and sell it directly to those who could afford to buy it, but nikkas been chasing couture brands since forever. All of that high end fashion didn't start popping until super recently. And I don't think it will last because I don't believe the average minority in America can afford a whole wardrobe of nothing but Gucci, Balenciaga, Moncler etc. so you're gonna have a proliferation of fake shyt and counterfeit shyt always destroys fashion trends. And nothing is more tacky than fake Gucci. What is more stereotypically bammerish than wearing head to toe fake Gucci? Fake Mitchell and Ness jerseys killed throwbacks in the early to mid 2000's. Fake Bape killed Bape in the mid to late 2000's. In the early 2010's, it was still all Ralph everything. Wale and Curren$y brought the throwback jerseys back this decade too. Being a sneakerhead went mainstream this decade too because back in the early to mid 2000's, people still had basic ass shoe game of butter Timberlands and all white or all black Air Force 1's and like one or two pairs of Jordan's. I didn't start to see people wearing Gucci t shirts and matching shoes until this summer. That's such an 80's concept to begin with.
So I should probably return this denim on denim Rocawear outfit that I bought you for your birthday.![]()
