Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos had the luck of being the first in their respective markets but they did indeed work hard to be able to take advantage of thier opportunity.

Those who lost their fortune and in other cases homes in the 2007 financial crisis is due to laziness

Those who grew up poor and had no access to quality education which affected their employment opportunity in the future and are knee deep in debt and bad credit score by the time they are adult is due to laziness

Those who are not earning enough money and have no capital to start any business ventures because banks won't grant them loans and are literally not exposed to any real opportunity to succeed in life are just lazy?

Growing up poor or being barred from business loans is obviously the luck factor.

But New businesses failing? That's street smarts. Know the market, improve your business savvy, have an eye for marketing, learn how to sell, what location to sell, etc.

I'm not trying to be one of those snobby Republicans that think everything is simple.

But I do get jaded how many young people go too far the other and act like ANY success is 100% pure luck. It's very demotivating
