But he isn't. The man has never even made an All NBA team... IN THE EAST.

THE WIZARDS HAVE THE PERSONEL TO BEAT CLEVELANDS OLD WEAK ASS DEFENSE.

ITS UP TO WALL TO TAKE THAT LEAP.

I don't know man. They can barely outscore the Celtics. You think they can take down a red hot Cleveland team? We don't even know when this series is ending.

I just want to reiterate that I can't think of one scenario in which I would take Westbrook over Wall unless it was to sell tickets on a team that I know isn't going anywhere.

Even though personally I hate Russ's style of play and much prefer to watch Wall.

WITH THOSE SHOOTERS, ATHLETIC WINGS
AND FLOOR SPACING...

I THINK RUSS WINS THE EAST
IF YOU SWAP HIM AND WALL.

WALL WOULDNT BE NEAR AS EFFECTIVE
WITH OKCS LANE CLOGGING
NON SHOOTING ASSES.

If Westbrook was oftentimes reluctant to give the ball up in obvious moments when he was playing with someone better than him, why would he suddenly be willing to do it with Beal, Gortat, Morris and Porter?

It's hard for me to pretend to know what would happen if Wall was on the Thunder. I do think he'd utilize some of the players better, and his style of play would allow Donovan to get a little more interesting with a game plan. That isn't to say they'd win the West or be ready to beat the Rockets in the first round. But they'd definitely play a better brand of basketball that I'd prefer watching. And Russ ain't winning no damn East with that Wiz team, no way no how. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

But he isn't. The man has never even made an All NBA team... IN THE EAST. You guys take things to far. He's great, but he's not at that level. He is a better passing Damian Lillard.

He is going to make an All-NBA team this year. And All-NBA teams have nothing to do with East or West, so that's a completely irrelevant distinction. Wall has been plagued by knee problems and now that they've been corrected, he's showing just how complete his game is. He's not a better passing Damian Lillard, that comparison makes no more sense that me calling Westbrook a more explosive Eric Bledsoe.

Westbrook is a career 41/29 percent playoff shooter, which is fukking lamentable. His assists per game fluctuated between 5 and 8 until the past two seasons, and that's with one of the best scorers in the league as his running mate. His usage rates blow Wall's out of the water, so he should be getting at least the 10 assists per game he has averaged the last couple years. Wall's a far better distributor than Russy ever will be. Wall has also been in the league for two fewer years, and the knock is that he has to improve his shooting, yet his shooting isn't worse than Russy's which should tell you something. Wall has also made an all defensive team, while I can't remember the last time I watched Russy on defense and thought he was even capable on that end.

I'm on record for years now as a Russy fan, because he goes hard as fukk. But he can't shoot and he makes a lot of stubborn decisions. That's not to say he isn't a great player, he just not the dude I'd ever want at PG for a team I was in charge of. I believe we've seen Russy's ceiling. John Wall is trending upward, getting better, and putting a serious stamp on the playoffs. Going forward I expect him to maintain this trend. Unless Russy makes serious changes to his approach, he's going to be painful to observe when his athleticism wanes.

CELTICS ARE BETTER DEFENDERS THAN THE CAVS...
AND
THE WIZ REALLY BLEW THE 1ST 2 GAMES OF THE SERIES.

THEYRE THE BETTER TEAM
THEY JUST HAVE TO CONTINUE TO MATURE AS THE POST SEASON MOVES ALONG.

Outside of Wall. Beal is too inconsistent to ever count on...the rest of the team isn't that great.

The Thunder would do better with Wall IMO.

:what: WHY YOU RUNNING WITH THIS WEAK ASS NARRATIVE
LIKE KD WASNT JACKING A TON OF SHOTS LATE IN GAMES?

IF WESTBROOK CAN AVERAGE 11 ASSISTS WITH
NON SHOOTERS LIKE ROBERSON, OLADIPO, GIBSON, ADAMS AND KANTER...

WHY WOULDNT HE PASS TO 3P SHOOTERS LIKE BEAL, PORTER, MORRIS, BOGDANOVIC?

I know All NBA isn't based on conference. I was saying it's easier to distinguish yourself vs being a guard in the West.

I'm just not big on hyping dudes before they've actually done anything. Knee issues aside, this may be the best season Wall ever has for all we know. Consistency matters regardless of injury. Just look at AD. All that talent and can't even get his team to an 8th seed assuming he can stay healthy.

has westbrook ever had a complete starting rotation, his entire career has been Durant and 3 non shooters or a low volume shooter in ibaka. I can guarantee you wall would struggle with westbrooks roster.

not only that beal porter and Morris can all create for themselves. and shoot 3s at a high to decent rate. even gortat sorry ass can still pass and score for himself. wall doesn't have one offensively inept player in his starting rotation. westbrook has always had at least 3.

so like games 5 and 6 last year where Durant went 10 for 30 shooting more shots both games :deadrose: :russ:. furthermore that's too much shots for any one player. when main options are taking over 18 you have to look at the roster.

Cite 2 anomalies for a player who routinely drops 30/8/5 on 50%+ efficiency in his sleep because you're mad he abandoned your knucklehead starting point guard brehs.
