It's not as rural as it looks. It's the last house on that block. I think there are 7 or 8 other houses on that block. It's less than 2 miles to the nearest freeway.

nikka if you don't go somewhere with them random ass stats. Do me a favor and look at the average rental and home price for DC,Northern VA, or even Columbia MD and get back to me. Trust what I'm telling you 100k ain't shyt in that area.

I think you have a hard time understanding mean vs median. The mean will have a heavy skew because of the absurdly wealthy in parts like DC.

i just find it amusing that half of sohh is in their late 20's-early 30's and everybody is making over $100K .....when the median u.s. income according to the census is somewhere around $50,000.

it took me 2 year of having a successful business to actually get out of the red and turn a profit and about 5 years to hit kinda income levels being discussed in here. but all you kids in here are doing it overnight. riiiiiiight.

It certainly wasn't overnight for me. It took a few years for me to transfer into an a top tier college, network, and a land a job that would pay me six figures out of school. In all honesty, I've been preparing for my role since elementary school by following the markets and investing in stock and many of my peers have as well.
