I don't want to come off shallow, but as a black man, I have the privilege to call other black men a c00n if I feel it's appropriate. But a white person doesn't. Just like they don't have the privileged to determine if a black man is white or not. That's just my take. I was just kidding about the c00ning thing anyways. But how is Kobe whitewashed anyways?

:wtf:

Even if me and Kobe didn't have anything, that doesn't disqualify him from being black. You do know there are black people all across the globe right, that grew up in different circumstances and different upbringing than American black. I guess he didn't grow up poor enough for you. Or I guess he speaks too many languages. oh no, I think it's because he went to a private school. Yeah that's it.

Why does sports even have to be a racial thing? Why should a black man have to like black athletes? Why should a white man have to like white athletes? Instead of supporting racism, how about supporting common sense and equality :wtf:

and the irony that you keep missing is that being black is not one set thing. You wouldnt know that though.

You're apparently skimming what I'm writing. What do you think my viewpoint is right now? That if Kobe had grown up in the hood, had less money, and spoke fewer languages, Premeditated's statement would have been ok? Because I'm not saying that at all.

The D (where it's so cold)
I did? hence why i dapped the post that told him to STFU? I dont agree with that nonsense and it is irrelevant to your idiotic post.

On the other hand, you believe that being black or any race encapsulates a certain type of element. If only Kobe lived in Philly hoods would he be more black to you. That is what your post states and its as idiotic as the doofus who called black people who do not support black people c00ns.

And I dig how white people can tell minorities if they are or are not "acting" their race.

no, this is nonsense.

Being "black" is not a certain set of rules and principles. Thats why Bliz is speaking nonsense and you are too.

But they are, I know you wouldn't go to the UK thinking the black people there were going to be like the ones from around your way. Blacks like any other race of people are unique but you could still slot them into certain categories regardless by the way they talk (accent or drawl), what they eat and there hobbies. There's City blacks, Country blacks, Midwest blacks, West Coast blacks and Canadian blacks all black yet different based on certain principles. Kobe is from Philly and you could hardly tell if it wasn't brought up, yet Will Smith (who is also rich as fukk) is Philly to the bone despite his wealth and is relatable.

Kobe is Kobe, still da gawd still one of the best (stock is nosediving, though, just saying).

I've already said I was joking about the c00ning statement. I was obviously over compensating my admiration for Kobe. no homo.

I dont believe there is any rule to blackness. That is what I had a problem with.

But they are

You said he was one of the whitest players in the league...don't flip this and make it about the c00n shyt. Again, why is he white? He didn't grow up in the hood so he's not black? You have idiotic views on race, just admit it.

I get what Bilz is saying, Grant Hill falls into that category too, of blacks that regardless of what they do you can't relate to them on any level to the point they almost seem not black (default related race is set to white).

Kobe did wear a suit to one of the Source awards, it's like okay you went to the Source awards (blackness confirmed) but wore a suit (blackness reneged), they were white people there that knew enough of the awards not to wear formal stuff. It's like oH Kobe's too good to wear "urban" clothes like the rest of us. shyt like that will put people off even if it wasn't the intent.

:dwillhuh: u nikkas gotta be kidding me:facepalm:

He's an african american male that grew up in white neighborhoods and a primarily white culture. If I told you to name a player that symbolizes and embodies what is it to be black, are you saying that a guy that grew up in Italy speaking Italian and went to posh private schools his whole life is that dude? I don't think any one person can represent a race in that way but of all of the players to suggest, Kobe is just laughable.
