He's an african american male that grew up in white neighborhoods and a primarily white culture. If I told you to name a player that symbolizes and embodies what is it to be black, are you saying that a guy that grew up in Italy speaking Italian and went to posh private schools his whole life is that dude? I don't think any one person can represent a race in that way but of all of the players to suggest, Kobe is just laughable.

I would think it's a dumb fukking question in the first place. :ld:

So is Jeremy Lin one of the whitest players in the league for going to Harvard?

Did I ever say there was?

yes, you did

 Do as I say, not as I do, right?

He grew up in Italy and spent his whole life in private schools full of white people. The guy phrased it like Kobe was MLK or some shyt and should be a savior to all black people. It's like saying all white people should like Eminem or they're race traitors. Skin color alone doesn't give you much in common with other people. If you grew up in Mexico, you'd have much more in common with Mexicans than any other race.
to you a black man who
-grows up in Italy(even though he spend most of his adolescence in America)
-goes to private school

is not black for you. Damn, I guess I have to tell my cousin who grew up in Scotland, that she's not black enough to them good ole white folks now.

He's a black man, I already said that. He's not representative to the point that anyone that dislikes him is a c00n though. I know you already retreated from that point but it remains the same.

For someone to be liked based on their race alone, they would have to have qualities and upbringings that all members of their race can relate to. I don't know why people are trying to argue that Kobe has that. Furthermore, I don't know why race would even be a factor.

Bilz.....you'd been better off saying that Kobe is one of the least "ghettoest" players in the NBA because he didn't grow up in the ghetto. It seems that you correlate Black with being ghetto. Smarten up because you have Mr.Drummond and Mr. Kotter turning over in their graves with your lack of Black sensitivity and knowledge.

Hurts, don't it. dude bit everything, plus snitched. But that's yo mamba though:to:

:pachaha:

So we're gonna ignore how MJ came back trying to act like Kobe and failed? Jordan's stint with the Wiz was all about Kobe. He tried to shoot lke Kobe, walk lke Kobe and WIN lke Kobe. He gave up after Kobe gave him a double nickel on his dome.
