Only if he lived in Europe and attended a posh private school. Because only white people are about that life......according to Bilz
if he wore a suit at the Source awards, he would be white too. :ehh:

I would think it's a dumb fukking question in the first place. :ld:

So is Jeremy Lin one of the whitest players in the league for going to Harvard?

It is a dumbass question and it's the premise I was responding to in the first place but no one wants to talk about that because it was made by a fellow Kobestan.

If someone said that any asian that didn't like Jeremy Lin was a banana , I would certainly point out that being american born and speaking perfect english, attending Harvard and playing in the NBA doesn't make him representative of all asians.

Bilz.....you'd been better off saying that Kobe is one of the least "ghettoest" players in the NBA because he didn't grow up in the ghetto. It seems that you correlate Black with being ghetto. Smarten up because you have Mr.Drummond and Mr. Kotter turning over in their graves with your lack of Black sensitivity and knowledge.

You're the only one in here talking about the ghetto. I called Kobe one of the whitest players in the NBA, not one of the whitest people in the world. One of the many distinctions in here you Kobestans have been missing in all of this.

So we're gonna ignore how MJ came back trying to act like Kobe and failed? Jordan's stint with the Wiz was all about Kobe. He tried to shoot lke Kobe, walk lke Kobe and WIN lke Kobe. He gave up after Kobe gave him a double nickel on his dome.
:russ:..........................troll, carry on with the race relations debate.

If you want to prove that it was mostly black people around him in Italy and in those posh private schools, that's on you. If you want to say that in a league of about 75% black players, that his lifestyle and upbringing was similar to that of his peers and that he spent less time in and around what is known as a "white" culture than other NBAers, that's on you.

But you're taking it to the extreme that I'm saying all black people live in the ghetto. WTF are you talking about? This has nothing to do with ghetto or other racial stereotypes.

But on the contraire corn fritter, YOU stereotyped Blacks and whites by using Kobe's "posh" upbringing in Italy. YOU said tha he was one of the whitest dudes in the NBA because of that. STEREOTYPE Bilz. Which led me to bring up ghetto. I said you'd been better off saying that Kobe is one of the LEAST "ghettoest" players in the NBA because he never lived in the ghetto. Youre not saying they all live in ghetto, right, but you are saying that growing up rich and spending part of your life in Italy is WHITE.

Let's not pretend that you were speaking to anyone else's assumptions about what it is to be black vs white. You said what you said about Kobe's "whiteness" as a matter of fact.

I think that a mexican that goes to school in San Diego is americanized in comparison to other mexicans, even if his skin color is the same. If he grew up and went to school with nothing but white people, I would say he is "whiter" than his peers back in Mexico. Mastermind would probably have a problem with me saying that since I'm not mexican and couldn't possibly make that judgment.

I don't really think many NBA players grew up in what would be characterized as the "ghetto". And whether or not he came from the ghetto really had nothing to do with the original comment, which was that black people are required to like Kobe or they'd be considered c00ns. Ghettos don't include any certain race and really don't need to be included in a racial discussion. Ghettos can be white, mexican, black, or a combination of the above.
