Kobe didnt marry a sista,he did marry a death row groupie, snitched to the police, let Rick Fox smash his wife then raised dudes kids and somehow beat a rape case against a white girl in colorodo! Seems like the start of a strong case for c00n status. I bet white people would draft him in the Racial Draft :russ:

kobe's first introduction to black people was when he took brandy to his prom.

:dwillhuh: u nikkas gotta be kidding me:facepalm:

Your whole defense is that you were saying it wasn't fair to call someone a c00n for not liking someone you don't even think is that black.

It's whatever man...I just hope you don't pass on your ignorance to your kids.

I don't think a black person is required to like all other black people just because they're of the same race. I certainly don't think they're a c00n for not doing so.

In the case of Kobe, it was exceptionally strange because he doesn't even have a lifestyle that is relatable. If a white player grew up in Italy, went to private schools, and joined the NBA, he wouldn't be universally liked by black people, so why should Kobe?

You all keep trying to make this about Kobe not being black enough and that isn't the point at all. If you're ok with being called a c00n because there are people of your race you don't like, then good for you :manny:

You're judging my work based on your level of agreement with it so by definition, that makes it some of my best work.

Are you really going to argue that out of the population of the NBA, Kobe's lifestyle and upbringing isn't among the LEAST congruent to the average black man? Let's just be honest now. You like him because he's on your team and you like the way he plays, not because of how black he is. His race shouldn't be a factor to anyone.

To answer your question. Kobe's upbringing is among the least congruent to the average NBA player, BUT that doesnt MAKE HIM WHITER. I like Kobe because he plays his way and WINS his way and him not being like the average NBA player is a plus on why I like him. Look I was a huge fan of Stockton, why? Because he was a WHITE dude who couldnt dunk and wasnt fancy but was cracking the whole league and making
them mad. The same with Chambers (a high flying Anglo Saxon) I like them because they were white AND they got busy in a
predominantly Black sport. The same reason that I initially liked Tiger, Serena
and Venus because they was Black. If Stock and Chambers were Black then I wouldn't like them as much because of the novelty of it. So race shouldn't be a
factor but it is.

I never like Nash or Bird. But if they were Black.....:smugfavre:

Can I interrupt your quote-splicing and attempts to take things out of context to ask you what you're trying to say?

You earlier said you disagreed with Premeditated's comment but you're sure spending a lot of time trying to defend it.

:snoop:

Do you honestly think the c00n statement was in earnest? :leon: Because if so, we might have bigger problems than I first assumed.

Point is, regardless of what kind of school Kobe went to or how well off he was growing up, he's probably had to deal with some shyt he otherwise wouldn't have had to just because he's black. Ultimately, that's part of the reason it's so retarded to say that any black person is "white" because most of us have to deal with the same shyt in one form or another just because we're black.

im not defending his comment at all. Nthing in my posts have defended his comments. I did not agree with it, and still dont agree with it. Its one of the stupidest things Ive read on this forum. The problem is that in your response, you decided to also drop your own brand of stupidity in an attempt to outdo premeditated's stupidity.

I asked, and have been consistent, is what the hell does "he is white" mean?

You keep trying to defend your statement instead of just keeping it real and honest and say, "I chose the wrong language in my post."

If you had just said "your background is different from Kobe's" this thread would have gone back to the Kobe stan wars that you have decided to be apart of. I wouldnt have replied to this idiotic thread because of that. But your wording and continuance to defend your dumbass comment makes me, and a few others, think there is something bigger going on here than just a mistake in language.

Eh, race isn't a factor to me but I see what you're saying. Those people get somewhat of an underdog label even though they're obviously more than capable of success.

When someone says that black people should all like Kobe, what is your honest response to that?

Honestly, all Black people don't have to like him (although they should) but they shouldn't hate on him either. I like all players, just at different degrees and levels. I don't dislike a player because of color, nah that's wack, but I DO like someone because of their color, being an underdog plays a part though. But in most people's eyes, Blacks are underdogs and whites are the favorites, but that's another convo.

The thing is, I didn't say "he is white". When premeditated said that black people were c00ns for hating on him, I said he is one of the whitest players in the league. A league that is predominantly black. A league that is not known for having players that were already wealthy, living in other countries, speaking other languages. A league of players that didn't grow up around nothing but white people at a posh private school in the burbs. In comparison to the average NBA player, he had a white upbringing from a yin and yang perspective, and this is the player that a black person would be a c00n if they didn't like? :wtf:

If you all want to ad lib a bunch of nonsense about him not being black enough, about blacks being symbolized by poverty or the ghetto, or any of that other nonsense, feel free, but that's not anything I'm saying here. This isn't Jalen Rose calling Grant Hill an uncle Tom, it's me criticizing a guy for making racial requirements for liking and disliking players and you all turning a blind eye to it.

exactly, and its an absurd statement. Just as bad as saying, "if you dont like Kobe and you are black, you are a c00n."

Its pretty sad that you cant see why that statement would upset folks. Even Premeditated realized his statement was stupid and backed off it.

Believe what you want, but that shyt was Last Emperor status and its puzzling that you still want to defend it.
