I work in a hospital and I've worked with some. One Indian dude who was born and raised in the United States was pretty cool. He didn't act like the typical Indian guy. He was pretty laid back. The women that were born in India tend to really be on that :mjpls:. My job tends to have a lot of different ethnicities working there so everyone gets along pretty decent. One unit is damn near Manila because almost everyone is Filipino/Filipia. Another floor is Lagos because almost everyone is Nigerian. The unit I typically work is a ICU and the majority are ADOS/FBA. One Indian lady that works there is a dumb ass and she's on that :mjpls:. Nobody likes her.

Not good. Probably the worst experience

Like someone said the women and younger dudes are fine.

The older ones are condescending, arrogant, by the book to a fault, and are high on nepotism.

Put it this way. In nyc, they run the meter maid market. Handing out parking tickets like its an honor.
Man no lie I ALWAYS wondered about that shyt. I was even gonna do a thread here asking cats cause wtf kinda racket they got with that? ALL OF THEM Indian and the ones from over there given their accents and just how they move. There gotta be some reason they got that shyt in a stronghold

I’ve worked with Americanized Indian women in the office, and they were cool.

The Indian tech guys I’ve worked with are terrible. Nobody likes them. They were mostly remote and the companies were too cheap to get decent ones with good English.

whats been your experience? Bc i cant be the only one who holds the viewpoint they are hard to work with.
They are hard to exist with period. Worst group of people on the planet.

I’ve learned it’s the Hindu ones that are worse. They don’t even have Christian basic beliefs of love thy neighbor, do onto others etc. They will do anything to slight a black person and love whiteness.

my first job out of college I had an indian manager and he was super cool but he was second generation which I think makes a difference. I will say I worked in an office with a lot of contractors and they mainly kept to themselves but after 2 years of working together they opened up. Now I will say there was a large group of them that remained on that :mjpls:

What about making a thread about when you sent a PM to another poster asking to suck their dikk? Did you think about making a thread on that?

Honestly, the “worst” people to work with have been the best people I’ve worked with: Russians, Indians, etc.

Maybe I just like when people let you be though.

However, when we have meetings where the Indian, Latin, Russian and Chinese foreign engineers at my company are all brainstorming and communicating in English it drives me insane.

“Ehhh, what is word…”
“How you say….”

:mjlol: :heh:

They cool for the most part, but sometimes they be withholding information and like to keep it amongst themselves. E.g we're CPQ consultants and previously when I've had an issue they'd be reluctant to share the fix or workaround or even point me towards the right developer to help me.

But I'd say they've changed and are far more cooperative now

Corporate nikka
Lmao I got one Indian guy on my team.. coolest dude ever, extremely smart and good at what he does.

He will NOT share how he fixes issues for nothing! He’ll do it himself and if you ask him he’ll just give you a vague ass answer.

Idk if it’s just him personally or the ethnic group as a whole tho.

From an IT perspective:

They generally tend to keep to themselves but they are usually very polite. Sometimes they stick together to the point of being cliquish; meaning, if you’re not in their circle they’ll exclude you from being aware of valuable information or opportunities around the office.

The women in my experience tend to be the friendliest but the men can be cool too. I’d say the younger men tend to be cooler than the older ones on average.

The absolute worst ones that I’ve run into are almost always the ones who are in leadership/management positions, especially if they are on VISA or a path to citizenship. They’re usually the biggest brown nosers and a$$holes.

In my first job the vast majority that I worked with were on VISA and honestly they were all pretty hard working and treated me well. Some of them were really good mentors and I credit them for me being the professional that I am today; that said, I think I lucked out based on what I’ve seen around the industry since then. I also worked with a lot of older ones (30s and 40s at the time) and they were definitely more chill than the average.

That’s all I got :manny:
