They are all street rappers lol.

Im saying they push is for street rappers in general not Cheef Keef alone. :snoop:

People still fukk with the radio. Its how most of these street rappers survive in this era when in last era they wouldnt have seen the light of day lol.

All the radio does is play the same 10 songs all day until people are forced to accept it.

:snoop:

The artists that get the most radio play is Nicki Minaj, Drake, Kendrick, etc.

The internet has blew up street rappers. That's why they're disposable too. Fast Food rap.

DatPiff, Live Mixtapes, etc

These dudes aren't getting regular radio spins nor do they have longevity so they aren't even surviving.

Again. Not conscious. And that only applies to Kendrick.

Everyone else is on that pseudo hippie wannabe deep shyt
J Rock is concious too...just more on the level of a nikka kicking project politics to you in the courtyard while ya'll sidewalk servin'...that's a great lane, it meets the needs of those lookin for street music and those lookin to hear common sense. School boy kick knowledge too...but he's the designated "shock rapper" of the crew and that youngin from Indiana they picked up is NICE WIT IT...but comparatively to let's say Migos or an MMG offering...there would certainly be more concious lyricism with them than most others :manny:...yeah TDE is concious

Yea Drake and Nicki get the most but street rappers still get some shine on the radio.

They get on the radio and have more of a run than every conscious rapper rapping out there.

I rather conscious rappers get even that than nothing at all. :francis:

Conscious rappers get nothing other than Kendrick.

This isnt true.

Its been shown that they'll push anything that sells. Even if its "conscious" Most of these dudes just dont sound good

Not really, that wasn't the case. Media as we know it is different. Those big Jewish Execs have way less control due to songs and rappers blowing up many different type of ways. People choose to what and who they fuk wit.

They can do ish like this all they want
Clear Channel’s ‘On the Verge’ program helped make Iggy Azalea a star. Here’s how it works.
but if they have no staying powerr, they will faze out.

J. Cole was not pushed, K-Dot, I can see was pushed. but they built a loyal fan base. Drake on the other hand was pushed hella hard.

If you read and listen to interviews from the oldschool cats, many feel that HipHop was in it's purest form when it was closer to Disco and the MC's were giving off more of a party vibe while being backed by a DJ. Some think when MC's started to become more of the full blown modern rapper it killed the original vibe with the 4 elements.

I'm six minutes in to this and they're talking bout how they would stretch a break beat because that was the part of the original song that they would get extra groovy to in a record and it just dawned on me:ohhh:...they as a populous then liked and appreciate music more than our populous does today. The whole reason this jumped off is because people wanted to dance longer on a PART of an original song THAT THEY ALREADY LIKED...back in the day people would just go to they're friends house just to listen to music...sounds boring but that's what it was:yeshrug:. Now we got wifi and video games and Netflix ...people don't appreciate the entertainment value of music so much. Nikkas don't go over each other's cribs wit a 1/8 a loud and just analyze BIG or NAS or even new artists today's shyt like they would've in the 70's...kinda sad:wow: cuz what gets innovated is only what society focuses on. We need to start loving the music more:mjcry::feedme:

entertainers and listeners overrate the whole "conscious" theme. The most important goal is to make GOOD music. If the music is good and bumps, you can put whatever message you want in the song. I'm tired of these rappers complaining about not being put on because they don't make club music. No you're not being put on because your music is wack and no one wants to hear it.

We also come to find out many of these conscious rappers are so full of themselves. I don't know what the hell happened to Mos Def, but he is prime example. Talking about not coming back to this country blah blah blah yet lately dropping dud after dud. People are finally seeing through the BS. I'm all for conscious music, but if it means I have to listen to some monotone rapper with fruity loops beats I'm not interested.

The radio don't matter that much in 2015. It's not 1995. People have the internet to discover new music.

That is how guys like Dom Kennedy or LeCrae, a Christian rapper, move more digial units than the average rapper.

Even MF Doom has pushed records.

Those guys would rather you buy the records and come to the shows. They aren't in it for the fame, they just care about the music.

J Cole was pushed. He's filling the niche of below average wannabe deep MCs who appeal to cornballs

Drake wasn't pushed. he had one of the biggest underground movements ever...even before So Far Gone. You can dislike him if you want, but to say he doesn't naturally appeal to people is an outright lie.

"
Hop on the F train, took the express train
Skip that local shyt, my vocal sick
That's how success came
Once kings now we pawns in this chess game
Wall Street got black slave blood stains
Which means, we built this city
And never got scraps while the devil got fat
In fact, reparation for nikkas and desperation
fukk money, get my kid a real education
Blood money spills, had a real revelation
Southside make you realize there's still segregation

Don't wanna preach I'm just thinking out loud"

"
Im trynna throw my momma in rides
Imma provide for my seed I'm the soil
I'll teach 'em bout loyalty
I'll teach him that his skin black like oil that's for royalty
I'll show him all the things that my pops was never showing me

Treat him like a growing tree"

:dahell: I swear nikkas either trollin or just dumb!! smh.
