Wrong breh, the problem is you can’t blame anybody. You’re responsible for holding that L yaself. I’ve been just as heated as some dood wall bouncing off me to blast me, bounce another wall to kill my teammate covering me with a pistol, and then dance on my corpse.
I can blame my dumbass teammate but no one in a fighting game.
How is Gears, CoD, or BF any different from a fighting. Shotguns have active frames cool down, and recoil. Why is that different from plus frames and hit stun.
Because those are team games or at least death matches.
Fighting is straight up my tools vs your tools. Not being able to kill someone is annoying. But getting washed over and over with perfects or full life and really making someone feel like they have no chance or suck...
Only with fighters.
There's a reason they keep adding all these comeback mechanics to games and trying to add ways to at least make a player feel like they are doing something....
They aren't doing that with sports games, or racing games, or shooters, or battle royals.
With shooters, there's always that chance you might kill the best player in the game.
In a fighter there is no chance of a below mid level player being the best player in the game period.
Even when messing around the odds are low

Fighting games lack rewards for playing. Remember Soul Calibur 3? People shat on that game because it wasn't made for the competitive scene. Soul Calibur 3 and Tekken Dark Resurrection(psp) were the best fighting game packages. Endless Ghost/Arcade battle was the shyt. Endless Arcade battle i liked more because it didn't add any of the goofy ass costumes.
Fighting games used to be about martial arts and had more respect for the hand to hand combat. As well as a participation concept, with the characters. Which led to people begging to be represented.
I remember people begging for a krav maga and wing chun fighting style. People wanted their nationalities repped, or characters designs inspired by their favorite martial artist.
All that is out the window now as every new character is some stupid weeabo shyt from some dumb ass anime, a character that is already in the game, or was supposed to appeal to SJW's who only want gays and females in fighting games. SJW's and the competitive scene contribute nothing to push the genre forward but are getting fed like crazy.

Fighting games got boring after SF2: 3rd Strike and MK 3. Afterwards, nothing new happened under the sun. We'd seen it all.
