Breh, as someone who's been getting regular haircuts since they were 1 and cuts hair, this is highly incorrect

Lineups is simply shaving, it does not cause balding

Are you over 30? Your mom's and pops side have bald people in it? That's a major factor.

Ya'll need to stop this. There is no correlation between getting lineups and going bald. :mindblown: Going bald is a genetic process.:snoop:

Yes, but it just speeds up the process. If men from your mother's and father's side of the family are getting bald around 50, excessive line ups will cause you to go bald when you are still in your 30s. It just speeds up the process.

For some people, irritation of their hairline and some parts of the head excessively results in permanent hair loss. Reason why it just becoming known is because we the first generation of getting lineups and seeing the long term results of constant tampering of the hairline.

No

No one on either side is bald, my father's hairline is in tact despite him having braids which could cause traction alopecia

My uncle (mom's brother) is 59 years old with a full head of hair and he usually rocks it bald because he doesn't like brushing or combing his hair

Hairlines going has nothing to do with shaving, it's all genetic, usually from your mother's side of the family

You got great hair genetics, though. :ld:

If your family has a lot of older men that are bald, best believe that you would cut down on the excessive cuts.

Back in the day, most brehs go to the barber twice a month. Now, it's at least once a week.

:comeon:

There is no evidence that supports

Getting a lineup is the same as shaving your beard and shaving has not stopped anyone's beard from growing

The only thing thing excessive shaving could cause on black men is razor bumps

There hasn't been any reports on men who facial hair has slowed down. Or stopped though. :sas2:

Not every man is the saem. Cut down on the haircuts, and your hairline can have a few more years, even with bald headed men in your family.

We gotta look at male and female cuts in 70's - 90's movies, we'd figure out the answer a little quicker

Electric clipper+blade line ups+bad hair genetics=receding hairline and balding in no time
