Or he is being realistic and understanding the nature of how other races view us. Barring that, merely knowing racism is real should be enough. Not to attack you, but a lot of African progress has been hindered by sentiments like this, that is, wanting to be like a cac. Useful or necessary things or a better way of doing things dismissed as wanting to be like the white man. I've seen it in the village I was born in, to a place I was trying to set up a clinic in, to even in my own family. It's a maddening feeling and much in line with this thread I guess.

Im sure that was figurative speech. While im looking out for me and mine, I reach out and drag those who's willing to be drag. I REFUSE to wrestle with a rebellious kid that isn't mine. Let the single and childless people handle that burden. I know dudes out here putting their lives on the line working with troubled teen.. If a brother with a family loses his life trying to make a knuckle head act right, their is absolutely no honor in that. The problem we have is you have a select few trying to save the whole. When most Black people always make some sort of excuses for the criminals and degenerates within our community. A lot of these gang members, robbers and killers do the shyt they do cuz they want too not because they have too.

This is 2022, it’s so easy to be a productive member of society and earn shyt the legit way but most of our people would still rather terrorize our community to gain quicker access to materialistic shyt.
