Black women just love to eat really, a lot of them are overweight and of course they want the man to pay for it if they can. A smart woman or man understands not to take who pays or don't pay on the 1st date too serious, bcuz of all of the independent women confusion going on in the black community.

I'm sure I've dated and been around more of these so called "success" black women living in DC, then more guys on this forum. I will say there's a lot of truth to the OP's posting. A lot of these "successful" women really aren't that successful and they don't really have a lot of money to blow. So they do try to save and get over when they can. They just want the respect of a independent person, but benefits of a traditional catering type lady. Dudes aren't really going for that nowadays. Either you're independent or you're not. This is were all the confusion stems from.

As far as chicks from the hood, the cool ones (not really ghetto) they seem to have less expectation of what a man should do, but appreciate when he does. A lot of these so called "successful" sista have higher expectations and they usually aren't too appreciative nor grateful afterward. They feel that they are entitled to that. My feeling on entitlements are, if you're really entitled, you shouldn't have to debate or ask for it. I'm sure if you're fly and cool enough a man doesn't have a problem paying for any dates. It's the average chicks with dime entitlement issues that is causes this confusion.

I have seen black women rock climbing. I live blocks from Central Park, I see black women biking. PLENTY of black women ride motorcycles, its clear youve never been to the hood as the motorcycle clubs there ALWAYS have women in them, WITH THEIR OWN BIKES. I was just at a KAwasaki demo event, the first person I ran into there was a black woman on a ZX6R. BLACK WOMEN SING JAZZ, why the fukk wouldnt they be in jazz spots, again I am in Harlem and around the city and there are ALWAYS black women there. I see black women going for jogs. there are always black women in the park, with family, BOYFRIENDS, whatever.

The only thing thats clear is that your interactions with black women are LIMITED. You CLEARLY don't know what black women do. And miss me with that "B-B-BUT THOSE ARE EXCEPTIONS"... your anecdotal evidence is no more valid than mine or anyone elses, and that is all you have to back up your stupid ass theories

I said I don't and agreed with you, didn't I? Every time I turn around I see black women hiking, biking, swimming, mountain climbing, ect. That's all I see out there.

it has probably already been said but it doesn't matter where you take her. if she's attracted to you and is really feeling you like that, you could take her to the park for a walk and you're still smashing that night if you're not dumb.

problem is, a lot of guys take chicks that aren't attracted to them or aren't feeling them on dates. it doesn't matter if you take her to a play, fancy dinner, concert with backstage passes, the moon, etc. if she's not feeling you she'll get everything she can out of you and then toss you away for the dude she's really feeling and their first date will be at some random parking lot where she'll give him head in his car.

This is so true. Nothing wrong with taking a woman to a nice spot, but she's gotta give you the signs that make her worth of that time and money.
