I remember I started working at dairy queen when I was 16. I was being trained and then a customer came in. I didn’t understand the damn menu and after the custumer left, I left. I only lasted 10 minutes.

Only once. I sat through a cutco knives presentation to be a salesman as a teenager and halfway through the presentation, the epiphany (and reality) was, how in the hell am I going to sell some damn knives and scissors for $250?

I had already paid my money for my trial set so I stuck with the presentation, went home, got clowned by my mom and went to find a real job.

We’re all living the same lives for real. Me too breh :mjlol:

Mine was also a bullshyt ass sales job. Only we were trying to sell cellphone plans in front of Ponce City Market. I never felt so embarrassed brehs.

After my first day was over, my boss was telling me how good I was and was looking forward to my progress.

Soon as I hopped in my car, I deleted and blocked his number. Lasted one day.

Man I wonder how these employers feel when they get blocked on everything and realize they've been ghosted LMAO

Breh this video literally has me in tears and traumatized at the same time

Got a job working on the loading/unloading team for a lumber/hardware store. Should've known it was bullshiit when right after the interview when I was leaving, they asked me if I wanted to get a couple of hours in that same day :dahell:
Training was literally about an hour on the 1st day and you went to work. Seen brehs there talking about they had to have back surgeries and shiit. Shift was from 5am to about 3pm
I worked there for 3 days. Went on my lunch break and never came back. Phone was blowing up. :mjlol:

I will say though, the feeling of quitting a bullshiit job is :blessed:

After leaving my job as a bill collector I started to run out of money so I looked in the classified ads and the first thing that caught my eye was an ad that said $2000 a week...of course I already broke out that calculator and got all excited. I got suited and booted, went to the office, and the red flags started flying; it was in some old ass building and the interview process was just too easy.

So I made it to the first day and it seemed mad cultist, the first day they played a gang of pop songs(I remember Toxic by Britney Spears :mjlol:) to get everyone hyped up, and then the spiel...it was a door to door sales job :beli: I was willing to give it a chance until they mentioned that you don't make anything unless you follow through with a complete appointment. We all hop in the van and walk around a neighborhood aimlessly, and they show what we had to do... shyt was like one of them informercials :snoop: had to clean a whole section of their house and shyt...and we had to be suited up too. I dipped after two days, pissed as fukk.

I was looking at this solar company that sells panels. Had $8000/month for salary. Said you just needed to close out the deals.

Wonder how that job was:ohhh:
