What do you consider a lot of black people? I looked online and saw that Denver black population is 10%.
Given its location that’s not a bad percentage. I normally don’t expect to see cities with high amount of black percentages once I go west of the Midwest or West of Texas minus Oakland/Richmond CA!
The sad part is we actually have black folks that buy into it thinking the whole city is like the Wire. When we talk about cities prospering on here Baltimore gets dismissed. You hear more talk about PG county. This thread shows that middle class blacks are eating here. On top of that we have the highest percentage of black owned businesses in the country
Any plans for all the empty row houses?
In Detroit they normally tear them down since there is a correlation to crime.
Montbello is like 70% Black and Park Hill is up there too. It's pretty diverse there.
Someone made a Black neighborhoods list. It's on here somewhere on here. I think it was @Gold
It may not be on front street to the masses like that, but I kinda picked up on that a few years ago. My ex's dad used to fix up houses there and flip them and just off keeping my antennae up I heard from a few separate other people who did the same. One was the younger brother of a dude I know and they was pooling their bread together and fukking with the houses too. To hear that randomly from different places like that, pretty much showed me that something was there, I made note of it and put it away
Row houses in Detroit are few and far between, most of it is detached single family homes.
I think you just gotta know where to go in Denver, first few times I went there I didn't see too many. Came home and looked up stuff online and even asked some brehs on here in that Denver thread where to go, and the next time I pulled up and saw a lot more. This most recent time I was out there I fell thru Aurora, its a pretty good amount of brehs out there too. And the way folks was talking about I thought it was a section or just a hood, but when I got there I saw that its a whole fukking mid sized city.

Next, the bottom 10 metros by absolute median household income in 2016:
![]()
Looking at absolute figures for metros only tells part of the story. It’s just as important — perhaps more so — to find out which metros are showing the largest gains in median household incomes, both for blacks and overall, and which aren’t. Here they are:

Here’s the bottom 10 metros showing the lowest percentage change in median household incomes overall and for African-Americans in 2016:
![]()
I thought of grouping metros into four categories, based on the average of median household income for black households ($41,271 in 2016) and the ratio of change in black household income to overall household income (with 1.01 or more meaning gaining ground, and 0.99 and less meaning losing ground). Considered in that context, the 51 metros can be grouped this way:

Link in the tweet.
The data don't lie. Brehs in Texas eating right now.
Any plans for all the empty row houses?
In Detroit .
I already know Detroit doesn’t have row houses since it’s a midwestern City
You trying to chat again?
St Louis got row houses, Cincy does too, and Chicago and Milwaukee got a few also. Do you ever actually travel or do you just sit online all day?
Edit—you know what nvm. You got it breh. I ain’t bout to sidetrack this thread. This is actually important. The floor is yours.
You obviously looking to deep in my comment. My point was asking if Baltimore is destroying their properties like Detroit.
And I was speaking on a larger scale. Rowhomes isn’t the image of the whole Midwest.
Rowhomes is the image of the East Coast tho.
I travel much more than you do. Do you even have a passport?
You got it breh. This ain’t the thread for all that.
