I respect RZA rhyming but I could never enjoy his verses. Lol I low key zone out when RZA starts rapping. I couldn’t quote anything but:

“…In paw-ticka-luh, my beats travel like a Vortex,
Through your spine to the top of your ce-WE-BWAL cortex…”

Side note I didn’t realize so many New Yorkers don’t pronounce the “BR” sound or R’s, in general. It comes out like “bwuther” instead of “brother”. It throws me off when AZ does it too. Not a bad thing, it just always make me think twice when I hear it.
RZA stutters ...
AZ and G Rap like @The Dust King said. Has lisps..

Im from NY ... I always pronoun the BR and R ... I dont know where you are getting that from.

i dont kno where you from but this is one of the wildest generalizations ive ever heard

mispronouncing B and R isnt a dialect its due to lisp

and NO we dont have this issue and NO we dont speak like that

your anecdotal evidence is nonexsistent

I’m not accusing you of doing anything wrong. Im just telling you what I’ve heard many times.

I’m from the south. We have weird ways of pronouncing things too. Sometimes we don’t notice them, it is what it is.

I have 1st cousins from Harlem and Bronx. I’ve went to school with transplants from NYC (Queens, Long Island, Brooklyn, etc. A lisp involves the s sound, that isn’t a lisp. I’m not saying it’s most of NYC, but I’ve heard it enough that it just might be a thing for some people up there. It’s nothing to get defensive about.

How could you not think he was wack?

On their very first record, he had the worst verse.
No stand out verses on the debut group album, and he was in a group with some of the best rappers of alltime. Even if he was halfway decent, he would have looked bad in comparison to them. But he wasn't very good.
Worst verse?

His part on PYN was the bridge and one of the most iconic parts of the wu tang catalog

And his verse on chess boxin is the mosh popular one

He's grown on me over the years...but his voice and flow just ain't really it, especially when compared to the rest of the clan. Everyone else has at least one solo album that holds up, from the classics to the lesser known affiliates. LA The Darkman has a better album than U-God...

I always feel like a U-God appearance just takes away a slot from one of the better members.

Knuckleheadz for example...one of his better verses. I would still rather have Deck, or GZA.

his verse on Mystery of Chessboxin was outstanding. One of the best 'opening verses' for any Wu-Tang song ever.

That said, he's just the 9th best rapper in a group. You are inherently gonna be viewed as wack then.
