IT'S KD DAMMIT. Seriously though, KD has never really shown he can DO IT. He's shown us how good he is but I don't know how to explain it without saying he needs help. Everybody needs help but I just can't express what I mean. I hate to say it but KD seems like a quitter. I can't explain it but it's not just the Achilles thing. Something about him makes me think he just doesn't give a fukk for real. Idk
The fact that he quit and blew up OKC with Westbrook and Harden to join the team he was 3-1 up on in the playoffs.. says EVERYTHING you need to know.

Would MJ do that?
Would Kobe do that..?

Hell no.

Unless the best 3pt shooter of all time, and one of the best 3pt shooters of all time are spreading the floor and scattering the defense to the point that he can shoot open 3s and midrange jumpers, drive to the lane with maybe 1 defender there but often nobody’s there to stop him….

KD’s not winning anything.

When he gets doubled OR someone is all over him and he is the sole focus of the defense..

He can still get points, but there’s 0% chance he gets you a chip.

Man this is a harsh reality. Love me some KD but he leaves a lot to be desired. Damn damn damn you just spit facts

That 3-1 series when Klay snapped? If I remember correctly, wasn't Steph out? If we talking about the same thing, that was damning

Revisionist history.
Harden was already gone.
OKC were blowing leads and there were all types of chemistry issues the 2nd half of that season. Then they overachieved that post season, but the writing was already on the wall that Durant was probably leaving.

What we should do is dial back expectations and go back to what should’ve been done from jump… which is player development.

Amen is 23
Sengun is 23
Jabari is 22
Shepherd is 21

I said last year that us overachieving (50-32) would be a double edge sword this year, and here we are winning (41-27) but not in a way that matches the elevated expectations nor improves our young guys. And this is their formative years.

We don’t have a Wemby, Cade, or Ant. Sengun is more Paolo-level, which is fine… just gotta rock out like ORL instead of tryna keep up with the joneses.
What the hell do you do with a 38 year old KD then? Trade him after this year?
