OKC were blowing leads and there were all types of chemistry issues the 2nd half of that season. Then they overachieved that post season, but the writing was already on the wall that Durant was probably leaving.

I said last year that us overachieving (50-32) would be a double edge sword this year, and here we are winning (41-27) but not in a way that matches the elevated expectations nor improves our young guys. And this is their formative years.

We don’t have a Wemby, Cade, or Ant. Sengun is more Paolo-level, which is fine… just gotta rock out like ORL instead of tryna keep up with the joneses.

I don't think he really cares either how he is perceived by the masses. He knows his numbers will speak for themselves when he hangs them up. But with a bit more selfishness we are talking about a guy who should have double digit scoring titles and even more rings. If he was a true Alpha it NEVER would have gotten to the point with Russ taking more shots then him. He's been good being 25-27 a night when 32-35 should have been the norm for him.
