In the sky
And a ram was provided in his stead, just in time. And that's prolly the origin of the Shofar.

Now the ram is also the vahana of Agni. And Agni is associted with Fire in the Hindu pantheon. In the Igbo its is Amadioha.

I'll leave it at that

I'd be overjoyed to unpack this one word

I'm gonna take a couple guesses

You're super Christian

You are atheist
certainly amused, how do you orientate yourself...
whatever it may be, its no larger indictment than being black, be careful. Youre unknowingly provoking your own eradication

Why skip everything and go straight to murder though?? Man, there weren't other ways to have someone prove their "faith?"

Gnosticism

Wiki it

Basically, the "serpent" is actually the hero. Tells Man to seek the truth no matter how painful (the fruit, the fall)

Yahweh is the ruler of this realm. All powerful here. Can destroy you. Send you to Hell

But he's still wrong. He's jealous. Childish. Vengeful.

Yahweh is not the transcendent G-d tho. Moreso a demig-d. Jesus was sent from the transcendent G-d to save us. From Yahweh.

Not to disrespect Yahweh. Also called Rex Mundi. King of THIS world (universe/dimension/realm). Cause he IS all powerful here. But he's petty

As per the Bible, if you submit to him and worship him he will bless you.

But

The transcendent G-d needs no worship. No accolades. For G-d has no ego. No personality at all in the common sense

But G-d requires obedience. Just like you must obey gravity and time. The righteous path is a natural way of life. If one lives their "best life" they necessarily obey G-d. For physical social mental and spiritual HEALTH. Strength. Longevity. Joy.

there is no demiurge

Exodus 18:8-24

8 And Moses told his father in law all that the Lord had done unto Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, and all the travail that had come upon them by the way, and how the Lord delivered them.

9 And Jethro rejoiced for all the goodness which the Lord had done to Israel, whom he had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians.

10 And Jethro said, Blessed be the Lord, who hath delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of Pharaoh, who hath delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians.

11 Now I know that the Lord is greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly he was above them.

12 And Jethro, Moses' father in law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God: and Aaron came, and all the elders of Israel, to eat bread with Moses' father in law before God.

13 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to judge the people: and the people stood by Moses from the morning unto the evening.

14 And when Moses' father in law saw all that he did to the people, he said, What is this thing that thou doest to the people? why sittest thou thyself alone, and all the people stand by thee from morning unto even?

15 And Moses said unto his father in law, Because the people come unto me to enquire of God:

16 When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.

17 And Moses' father in law said unto him, The thing that thou doest is not good.

18 Thou wilt surely wear away, both thou, and this people that is with thee: for this thing is too heavy for thee; thou art not able to perform it thyself alone.

19 Hearken now unto my voice, I will give thee counsel, and God shall be with thee: Be thou for the people to God-ward, that thou mayest bring the causes unto God:

20 And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.

21 Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:

22 And let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for thyself, and they shall bear the burden with thee.

23 If thou shalt do this thing, and God command thee so, then thou shalt be able to endure, and all this people shall also go to their place in peace.

24 So Moses hearkened to the voice of his father in law, and did all that he had said.

the slaves of egypt had no law (or understanding of God within the time period) and looked to Moses as their Pharaoh

because of the nature in which Moses recorded things is the reason "Yahweh" is a thing.

Jethro warned him :francis:

i trust the real writer of Genesis 1

I have been smoking

I read this twice

To me it seems that what you wrote is

In a word

Nonsense
you operate carelessly, constructing such a dangerous worldview despite lack of perspective. The hissing belly crawler has a seed, and they are quite capable of validating his earthly, impression youre a lower than a beast in their eyes yet you proclaim their justness

It was a test of faith. Obviously God wasn't going to let him sacrifice his son as he provided the ram for him instead and God forbade such a practice later on in the Bible

Deuteronomy 18:10 ESV / 300 helpful votes
There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer

2 Kings 21:6 ESV / 146 helpful votes
And he burned his son as an offering and used fortune-telling and omens and dealt with mediums and with necromancers. He did much evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking him to anger.

Deuteronomy 12:31 ESV / 137 helpful votes
You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way, for every abominable thing that the Lord hates they have done for their gods, for they even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.
