How he'd kill people to accomplish something else (like killing the first-borns of the Egyptians, including babies)

And Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD slew him. And Judah said unto Onan, Go in unto thy brother's wife... And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground... And the thing which he did displeased the LORD: wherefore he slew him also. Genesis 38:7-10

7 But Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the Lord’s sight;so the Lord put him to death.

8 Then Judah said to Onan, “Sleep with your brother’s wife and fulfill your duty to her as a brother-in-law to raise up offspring for your brother.” 9 But Onan knew that the child would not be his; so whenever he slept with his brother’s wife, he spilled his semen on the ground to keep from providing offspring for his brother. 10 What he did was wicked in the Lord’s sight; so the Lord put him to death also.

God kills Er for being wicked, and then kills Er's brother, Onan, for ejaculating outside the vagina of his dead brother's wife. :picard:

you operate carelessly, constructing such a dangerous worldview despite lack of perspective. The hissing belly crawler has a seed, and they are quite capable of validating his earthly, impression youre a lower than a beast in their eyes yet you proclaim their justness

Topic of thread

The fukced up things "G-d" does in the Bible

My post

Explains that the entity in the Bible behaves as a small minded being. And there is a whole ancient philosophy that expounds upon why

I'm not saying that Gnosticism is "true"

It is a analysis of the subject

Now

There is a reality underpinning all this talk. There is a consciousness of the Universe

And no matter what myth you subscribe to, G-d is real. And G-d is not your friend

Think: the strictest of strict parent

Karma is undefeated. Doesn't matter if you like it

Gnosticism is full of fantasy shyt. Just like all myths. But it is all poetry trying to describe the essence of reality
