He's not even leading the league in scoring though breh.
Is it too much to ask of a top 10/max player to at least give you 30+ every night when his team is sorely in need? Beyond that it's not even about on court production. What kind of tone is he setting in the locker room that nikkas appear to giveth no fukks whatsoever? That's what I was actually referencing.

the nikka is 2nd in that category behind one of the leagues best scorers ever. and as far as locker room presence why should he have to say something when he's obviously giving his all for the team. If that's not enough motivation to play hard then

Once again you can't give a guy a certain status (top 10/max player) AND remove the responsibilities that come with that status. Part of being a top 10 guy/max player is setting a tone, being a leader, getting the other guys in line, being held accountable for your teams epic failure. You could easily go out and spend 22 mil on 3 or 4 guys that can combine for 28 and 9 breh. Part of being an elite player are doing the things that don't show up on the stat sheet.

Once again you can get 3 or 4 other guys for the same money to just come in and "do their jobs" to the tune of a combined 28 and 9. How are the Knicks any better of for having Melo in place of those 3 or 4 guys? Part of your job as a top 10/max player is to be a leader and be accountable for your squad. If you can't handle that responsibility then you are more than welcome to give the money/status back.

You've yet to tell me what part of his job haven't he done besides criticize his teammates publicly like kobe might have dOne if he were in melo's position

And you have yet to explain what Melo is bringing to the table that four random players avg. 7 and 3 apiece wouldnt. How are they better off for having him? He is clearly not making an impact outside of his numbers and their record proves it. Now give me proof of his top 10 impact.

28 points 45% from the field 42% from 3, 8.5 rebounds, even more assists then last year when every basically called him selfish. Lets not even talk about the effort on defense.
J.R shot 42% from the field last yr 38% this yr
Felton 43% from the field last yr 39% this yr, 36% from 3 last yr, 29 percent last yr
Shump 40% last yr 37% this year.
Melo's second, third and fourth options are all shooting under 40% from the field. Chandler just dunks.
With all that said Melo is a top 10 player, I do understand people who don't want to put him on the list though. The team is terrible and if you the star you get the credit when the team is good and you get the blame with the team is bad, it is what it is.
