Yes I have, there's still way more girls than guys. Your ratio may refer to specific courses or majors, but the great thing about college is that you can make friends with people outside of your classes. You can even join an extra curricular or go to a party

The point is, he is conversing with her instead if asking a woman he literally just met for her number. He is showing that he has social skills, game or not. Any time a man you don't know approaches you and conversing with the intent of getting your number, it's game anyway IMO. Women know this. You aren't fooling anyone. It's the way you go about it.
