1) Give Seattle their team back (the most obvious choice)
2) Give Vancouver their team back (team was garbage and fans didn't really have a chance to embrace any winning, they moved because owner was from Memphis. It's the next best/big market on that list...you are looking at around 3 million people in that area)
This will fill up that hole in the North West that right now only Portland is filling. Las Vegas looks sexy, but not realistic.
Why isn't Vegas realistic?
Gambling/image. It's a great city that deserves a team, it will just be complicated for the NBA. I don't think they want to go down that route IMO.
Seattle, WA and Cincinnati, OH and Nashville, TN could be good for a NBA expansion.
Las Vegas wouldn't work because it's a transplant city, with the majority of them being SoCal transplants which is why Las Vegas is part of the Lakers tv territory.
It's about the market and MSA, not the actual city. You don't want to oversaturate the market. Three teams in Baltimore's market is over saturation. From this list, Seattle would be best. Fast growing area, lots of money and corporate backing.Baltimore has the biggest population of all the cities listed.
Why are so many people voting Seattle? Why would a basketball team succeed in Seattle long term?
The NHL is going to Seattle soon and hockey will suck fans away from basketball given Seattle's demographics. The only reason the Seahawks get so much support in Seattle is because they win at a supernatural rate compared to other franchises.
The only reason Toronto is able to support a basketball team is because there are like 5 million people in that area.

Demographics don't necessarily mean a thing...just look at Portland
they have one of the most loyal fanbases in the NBA.Kansas City may have the Sprint Center but they couldn't support the Kings when they were in town and they're more of a college basketball/ NFL city anyway. That's why they built the arena for bball tourneys and to try to lure a NHL team .
Why do we always focus on cities inside the US first when we do this expansion shyt? Why not Mexico City or Montreal as first options? Like has already been said, the point should be to expand the game across the world not just down the highway. I voted Vegas since that has always been sort of a taboo city for pro sports but fukk it, get a team in a new country
Las Vegas
Amerikkka aint even ready for that amount of fukkery![]()
