I expect everyone will be licking Puffy's/Jay-z's nuts since their the most known. People easily forgot that Master P used to sell records off the trunk of his car. Or that he stayed ghetto (remained the same person) after becoming filthy rich.

Alot of these nikkas are from the hood tho lol.

Dr dre got did dirty af on ruthless records. Hell the same records he made on deathrow was still putting money in eazy es pockets :damn:

But he didnt let that break him, and how hes richer than ever.

And alot of people like to say its easier for people from NY or LA but thats not really true because when you're in an established city, its harder to get that hometown support. You think garbage ass nikkas like Dorrough would be popular if he wasnt just about the ONLY rapper in dallas that can actually get radio play? When you're from a town thats not established yet, your city is more likely to support you.

If you really knew the back story behind 50 you would have no choice but to admire how he rose to glory.

Son was a legit New York street hustler who was gettin involved in sum shyt that was gonna ultimately leave him dead. fukk a blackball. Not only did he manage to avoid death in the streets, he was able to acheive mainstream success, take out his enemies thru the music, build a label, put his two mans on as multi platinium rappers, clothes, video games, movies the whole 9.

And that aint even involving Vitamin Water :whew:

Diddy because he was not a rapper to begin with and had to be one after Big died to keep Bad Boy going. Then success with Sean John and Ciroq. (they could have both flopped)

How you say 50 was just lucky :comeon:

Dude went through life and death for all his shyt.. Gotta respect his hustle..

Also, HOV and :takedat:
Two reasons:

1.) Vitamin Water shyt was luck at its finest.

2.) His lawyer or whoever just so happened to get his music to Eminem & Dre. If it wasnt for that 50 probably wouldve been shot and killed by 2003.

All the other dudes have been toxic and sold hip hop down the river. Rza maintained his integrity and brand. Plus, he made the best music and dealt with his immediate crew as opposed to signing and pimping.

How has J Prince sold hip hop down the river or lost integrity?
