Which is better to cop: Nintendo 3DS or PS VITA?

I want both, to be honest. Nintendo 3DS because I have DS games I still play, plus there are some cool looking games out for the 3ds; VITA because there are a lot of old rpgs on PSN that I want to play.

What say you guys?

if u got a ps3 or 4 u could prolly get all those same rpgs

3DS has way better (and more) games. Vita just has more powerful hardware.

I'd say the best RPG's from both lists are:

Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate (#1)
Fire Emblem: Awakening
Pokemon Y
Shin Megami Tensei IV
Bravely Default

If you're not a Kingdom Hearts fan, skip DDD 'cause it won't make sense anyway.

Some may count Zelda as an RPG, but I don't. It's more of an action adventure.

Meh. Vita is better if you're mainly big on JRPGs. Lots of PS1 and PS2 titles you can go back to for cheap too. Plus it doesn't feel/look like a Mattel toy

Vita crushes DS and its not even close. I'm wasn't even a fan of the device when it first dropped but the games have gotten so much better.

the 2.5hr battery life for the 3ds is a big con for me. i need it to last on long flights.. my main reason for wanting a handheld....
