Which is better to cop: Nintendo 3DS or PS VITA?

The Vita is an amazing piece of hardware. Not only does it have a LOT of localized content coming out this year, it's also the superior device to play PC indie games on the go with. Add to that a seamless PS4 Remote play feature, upcoming playstation now streaming that will let you stream PS1/2/3 games to it and you have a pretty nice console extender.

Now as for the games, the Vita doesn't have as much big system seller games out on it besides a select few but it more than makes up for it with the aforementioned stuff.

Here's a list of must have games and upcoming games.

Persona 4 Golden-Absolutely the best game on the Vita and quite possibly one of my favorite JRPG games ever. Game was an absolute blast to play through. I think this game should be a required purchase when buying a Vita.

Zero Escape(Virtues Last Reward)

I mentioned some games that are available elsewhere but once you see how smooth and beautiful these games look on the Vita, you'll see why I prefer playing PC indies on the Vita. Spelunky on the Vita looks nice and crisp and the sleep/resume feature affords you the luxury of having quick gaming bursts.

The 3DS has better 1st party games but again, the Vita with all these features, 3rd party perfect ports make it a nice companion. I'm getting a 3DS for that Smash brothers though.

Yeah, I'll be getting a 3DS probably for Persona Q and Bravely Default. But I still pick the Vita over it, as I did when I got it.

once again, they both serve their own purpose and fill a gaming niche.

so yeah, get both which one to get 1st...that's tough but you'll have plenty of games either way.

and you have to remember the Vita is a niche system, a lot of folks, on here especially, are going to have a hard time recommending things when they themselves don't venture away from familiar franchises and IP. Lotta good games on both systems.

i vote vita, no shade on nintendo but sony takes their account system, store, and online more seriously

only thing about it they got a lot of ports coming but its not like they are weak games

plus with remote play + PS Now on the horizon you're looking being able to play the entire playstation catalog on it

Love my 3DS but been thinking about getting a Vita for that Remote Play feature plus like some of the brehs have said...free games all the time due to PSPlus. Don't let the negative ass Sonystans act like the 3DS is garbage tho.

Amazon has a preorder sale on some Borderlands 2 bundle for the Vita for $200...comes out in a month tho.

I got at least 15 games in my ps+ vita backlog just waiting to be downloaded. I'm about to cop one when the borderlands2 bundle drops. unless i decide before then i want the oled og screen.....

Don't let these nikkas steer you in the wrong direction. With the 3DS not only do you get an awesome selection of JRPGs, you also get access to the classics from nintendo. Choosing a Vita over a 3DS is like pouring jelly on yourself.

If your seriously interested in copping a Vita though, i'll sell you my used one. PM me if your interested.

Sony still kinda treats it like a redhead stepchild, but I don't know too many Vita owners that genuine dislike the system, as much as they dislike Sony's treatment towards it. I have the 3Ds and the Vita and I haven't charged my 3DS is nearly a month until today cause I wanted to play some Pokemon. The games don't interest me as much outside of the signature franchises and a couple other joints.

3DS got piff, but the Vita does too, and it'll continue to add to it's JRPG and Indy circuit as time goes on. I just wish we got more first party releases from Sony, instead of them leaving it only to indy and third party devs.

And PS+ is garbage as well. No one is interested in playing Battlefield 2 or Bushido Blade 1, even if it is free...

Nobody is copping the free bullshyt Microsoft offers XBL users either nikka. I've copped more free shyt off PS+ than I have off XBL and I play my 360 1000x more than my PS3. Demon's Soul, Borderlands 2, and Bioshock Infinite>>>>Crackdown, Dead Rising, and Magic The Gathering

They just announced like three more jrpgs coming to vita.

Really thpugh all you need is a vita and ps plus. Ive got a huge backlog of vita games because of plus.

Additionally vita has piff exclusives like killzone mercenary, unit 13, uncharted golden abyss and tearaway.


And it may not mean anything to you but I like that the vita is synced to my ps consoles so earning trophies towards my psn is a bonus.

Not to mention, remote play and cross buy/cross save.

exactly I don't even buy vita games just download them off of ps plus.
