What's this game about?
Get a vita.
They just announced like three more jrpgs coming to vita.
Really thpugh all you need is a vita and ps plus. Ive got a huge backlog of vita games because of plus.
Additionally vita has piff exclusives like killzone mercenary, unit 13, uncharted golden abyss and tearaway.
And it may not mean anything to you but I like that the vita is synced to my ps consoles so earning trophies towards my psn is a bonus.
Not to mention, remote play and cross buy/cross save.

This may sound like a stupid question, but what is the point of trophies anyway? Also, everyone keeps telling me to get PS Plus...I don't see what the big deal is. U get free games every month, right? Does that include PSN Classics from Ps1 and Ps2?

Yeah this game was dope as hell sega, capcom, and namco teamed up to make this crossover game with their most popular characters.
Shyt was hella dope Ken, Ryu, Dante my nikka x and zero, Jin are in it too and tons of other sega characters I never heard of. The gameplay was so piff to where you had to keep the combo going and call in assist and shyte and if you hit the dudes before they hit the ground they get double damage
. This game was definitely a diamond in the ruff.
Trophies are pointless, its just nerd shyt. But they do add replay value to some games as you trying to earn them all.
Ps plus is just an amazing service. Its 50 bucks a year. You get free gsmes every month plus an additional collection of games. On top of that you get discounts on games. Plus other little things like your save games being saved on sonys servers.

AIght so that will be my next gaming purchase. Looks like I will have to cop both the Vita and 3DS. Maybe I should get an extra part time job to help fund these gaming activities

Don't let these nikkas steer you in the wrong direction. With the 3DS not only do you get an awesome selection of JRPGs, you also get access to the classics from nintendo. Choosing a Vita over a 3DS is like pouring jelly on yourself.
If your seriously interested in copping a Vita though, i'll sell you my used one. PM me if your interested.
I'm going through the same issue. The main game I want on the 3ds is pokemon x and y. Vita I wanna try persona 3 cause y'all hyping it and also telltales walking dead cause I never completed it on 360.
I mean, the only reason you should pick a DS over it is if you really want to play Nintendo exclusives. I personally couldn't care less about those games, and primarily use my Vita as a JRPG machine.

The Vita is an amazing piece of hardware. Not only does it have a LOT of localized content coming out this year, it's also the superior device to play PC indie games on the go with. Add to that a seamless PS4 Remote play feature, upcoming playstation now streaming that will let you stream PS1/2/3 games to it and you have a pretty nice console extender.
Now as for the games, the Vita doesn't have as much big system seller games out on it besides a select few but it more than makes up for it with the aforementioned stuff.
Here's a list of must have games and upcoming games.
Persona 4 Golden-Absolutely the best game on the Vita and quite possibly one of my favorite JRPG games ever. Game was an absolute blast to play through. I think this game should be a required purchase when buying a Vita.

Zero Escape(Virtues Last Reward)
I mentioned some games that are available elsewhere but once you see how smooth and beautiful these games look on the Vita, you'll see why I prefer playing PC indies on the Vita. Spelunky on the Vita looks nice and crisp and the sleep/resume feature affords you the luxury of having quick gaming bursts.
Here's a list of upcoming games I stole from someone.
The 3DS has better 1st party games but again, the Vita with all these features, 3rd party perfect ports make it a nice companion. I'm getting a 3DS for that Smash brothers though.
