White teacher frustrated, goes on racist rant

Lot of people on social media will focus on the teacher, who certainly should be fired, but to me this is about parenting and the trivial way school is viewed. This is happening in elementary schools and HS across the country. In some cases the teacher isn’t yelling and is instead calmly passing these kids through with a D average until graduation.

It’s easier to shyt on teachers than it is to admit we’ve got a broken social/family situation, we’re stacking failed generations on failed generations, and nothing is changing. Our idea of fixing schools is dumping money on them, which goes…somewhere, but not to students or teachers.

I heard this same speech hundreds of times from black teachers growing up.

Some of these Students from the hood between the ages of 11-16 are the absolute worst. They are straight up demonic. I still have trauma from my middle school.

I 100% agree but everybody does learn differently. But, Tough love is sometimes needed.

racist or fed up? white, black, asian, mexican, a LOT of teachers are harboring feelings like this. The system comment is off-color, but is he wrong? he's obviously a white teacher by the sound of his voice, but we don't know what color the rest of the students are in that class. He should be fired for the rant because you have to keep your cool in those situations, if that means sending all the kids to the principals office then so be it. But you can tell by her actions, she dont respect that creh... and the video is probably taken out of context.

I'll tell you this, since the "pandemic" started a lot of teachers have been pushed to the brink. My daughter's school district is nearing a strike or teacher walkout because they're having to deal with overcrowding and increases in violent behavior. How would you feel if you worked a job where you rarely see the fruits of your efforts because ppl dont care. All while getting paid chump change to try and teach kids who don't want to learn. Then you try to talk to parents on a grown-up to grown-up level and you instantly understand why kids act the way they do.
