My middle school was predominately white and I was in a couple of classes where the teacher said a lot worse. There was no racist shyt, but the teacher was calling them white kids all types of motherfukkers, a$$holes, shyt heads and stuff.....and yeah he was yelling at the top of his lungs like this white dude. Guys face was all red and spittin and shyt.

I seen a couple of white kids dad's get like this so I just chopped it up to that's how white men act.....

My high schools were different though, although those teachers did care, they were honest about if you didn't want to be there, just leave. You could walk out and go to study hall or iss (in school suspension) until you failed the class and either had to repeat or you dropped out or got expelled.

My pops told me firmly in 5th grade " don't be acting a fool in class. If I get a letter or a call, that's your ass."

Then like in a sitcom when Carl stops yellin at Eddie then says some heartfelt shyt and they play that sad/loving music he was like

"People are going to mess with you, say things about you or things you don't like. Even the teachers might get on you. Just make sure you're taking care of your business and if you are, at the end of the day can't nobody tell you anything."

He kept his end of the bargain. There was a teacher I really wasnt vibin with but I turned in every assignment on time and was passing the class with like a 97. I bounced a couple times and they ended up calling my pops. He asked me what was going on, I told him how I felt, and showed him my grades. He was upset or disappointed at all. But he did break it down for me how I only had a few more months of that class and never had to see or speak to that teacher again so just continue to do my work and unless shyt really gets bad just take care of my business.

That's the importance of having a dad that is present.

Idgaf what those kids did, he’s the adult and he was using racist ass dog whistles throughout his profanity laden rant. If that were my kid, I would be sitting on his car when he came outside. He would’ve been trying to walk back in that building like he forgot something. Fire him, he shouldn’t be around kids because he can’t control his racist temper.

I agree with the sentiment, homie took it too far and should be fired, however I have to ask… are you a teacher? Do you work with kids? Particularly kids in the inner city? I do and I have been for many many years. South Bronx, Harlem, East Harlem and Brooklyn. As most know, it begins at home. It takes a lot of restraint to not fly off the handle. If you haven’t been in the mix, then all you can do is speak from an observers point. It’s challenging and teachers deserve more support in the classroom.

I was waiting for someone to say this silly shyt. You think he signed up knowing this is how it would end? Some teachers teach because it’s what they choose to do (me). There are teachers who teach because it is something theyre good at. Some teach because they couldn’t get another job. It’s beyond “he chose this”

Whether or not they actually fire him, he's done as a teacher.

No matter what you are supposed to be the adult in the situation and hes throwing a tantrum as though he is a child. How can you say 'i want to be here' while saying you don't care what happens to the students at the same time?

He clearly doesn't want to be there anymore and he's stuck because if you have an education degree teaching is pretty much your only option. Hes not cut out for this kind of work and needs to do something else.

I agree teachers can't break down like this, regardless of the "reason" and he needs to lose his job off of this, but I didn't hear anything racist or see the complexion of rest of the class.
