If I am the FO I look at Poole/Kuminga as affordable option to add to what the Knicks already have and help them get over their issues with zone defense. Especially if the plan is “new coach in 2024”,

Brunson/IQ/McBride
Grimes/Poole/McBride
RJ/Hart/Kuminga
Randle/Kuminga
Mitch/IHart/Sims

A lot of different pieces there to look for mismatches. They aren’t “consistent” but that can come with age.

Oh hell nah, Poole would be horrible here:scust:

Just the thought of Brunson, Poole and Randle on the court at the same time… other teams would eat against us defensively

If Poole can’t look good playing with Curry, Klay and dray :scust:

And that contract…

Kuminga would be interesting though

I like you as a poster king. But I would personally find Leon Rose and wring his neck if he were to ever bring that nikka Poole to this team. I would rather have Elfrid Payton back than that beige fraud

1) depending on the guys around those three the offense would be better than anything given up defensively. It’s the same argument pro trade for Donovan Mitchell had for getting him with the same flaw. However, unlike that trade IQ, Grimes, RJ, Mitchell, Hart, IHart, Sims, and McBride and Kuminga would be here to hold the defensive fort down. I think Thibs is limited to his “rotations” but a better coach can mix and match that group and Thibs time is limited.

2) I think Poole and Kuminga are both done with the Warriors as a franchise because they are in a Obi situation but worst because Klay, Curry, and Draymond are a Dynasty. Brehs hate their Job because they get treated like JV call ups. I think them joining a solid young team with help them with their mental issues.

3) We need a bucket getter and Poole is a bucket getter. The Knicks need a Big wing who can play behind both RJ and Randle to get minutes and stretch the flaw and drive in the half court so you can’t hide a player like Trae Young on them. Kuminga can do that

I bet the Cavs fans felt the same way when they traded for Shump and JR Smith.

See I'm watching right now and Robinson is providing neither so he's useless
Y'all overrate the shyt out of Robinson there's guys all across the league who can do the same thing as him.
Nobody overrating Mitch, but KAT is not the answer. Yall hate Randle, but yall will be ready to jump off the GWB dealing with KAT's effort on a nightly basis.

You don’t dump a player off based one bad series. Mitch did his job against Cleveland's 2 bigs, and has played well for a majority of the season.0

Damn all the Knicks would need is a top 3 player in NBA history to make it work
Seems easy
Bro it’s not Lebron it’s fixing clear issues at a reasonable or low cost. What fukked up 2022 was the Knicks ignoring they needed a PG in 2021 and focusing too hard on the fact Trae was able to hide on Bullock. They let a bad playoff match up fukk up them improving the team

Getting caught up on KAT because Bam was able to draw Mitch and IHart out the paint and get his against Mitch or IHart is not the problem. The fact the Heat were able to clog the lane and crash the glass was the problem. The real issue this series exposed is the Knicks need outside shooters and they need someone who can get hot and break down the zone defense.

It’s easy to say get a star but it’s not easy to get a star in their prime.
