I'm in automotives, parts supplier for the big industries over here. Toyota, Suzuki, ect. And it is rare to see big breasted Japanese women. But, it matters where you are at. In Nagoya or Tokyo you will see a bunch. Thats where all the brothas are at anyway, gettin up on those chicks. shyt, there are gang of Brazilians in Japan too. So you might be thinking you are getting up on a Japanese chick but then she starts speaking in Portuguese and has you like :ohhh:

:noshyt: this nikka is living the life. adopt me breh:ahh:

I'm gonna keep it 100. We party like a mothafukka out here. Drinking sake and Chu-Highs all damn night. Its the culture here that is different. They have some amazing cultural sites. The temples are like 600 to 700 years old and seeing that shyt is amazing. I mainly kick it with my co-workers and teach them English and they teach me Japanese. I went to a maid-cafe and it was the weirdest shyt I have done in my life. Fine ass Japanese women dressed up in cat outfits dancing all around you. And those used panties are hilarious. We hit up a lot of these lounges where the women come up and poor you drinks and chat it up. You can't do shyt with them but its cool. But the Brothas I do catch out here are on missions mostly. Hooking up with these younger Japanese girls because they want to rebel against their parents. They want to know what it is like to be with a foreigner. Japanese younger women love Black Culture. Clothes and even rap, I rode to a meeting with my co-worker and he had Lil Wayne and A Tribe called Quest in the car. Tripped me out. That Earthquake messed up a lot of the businesses over here. And when I got here I found out that my US dollar wasn't worth shyt. I was hurtin for first month until I got my first pay check in yen. The conversion rate was $.77 to 1Yen when I got here. Painful. But, everything is within reach here. You can take the train everywhere but good luck on figuring out that train map. Get your drinking game up and karaoke skills up when you get here. That shyt is a national sport.

It may of been asked already, but how did you end up over there? one day you were like F' it..I'm going to Japan?

It was a position that was offered through my company's parent corporation. Nobody in my former division wanted to take it because they were older and didn't want to travel. So I put my name up there and I won out. I think there were maybe three other people who applied for the opportunity they were like 60 and late 50's. The company here wanted somebody young. I was 29 at the time. I wanted to experience something different so I got a passport packed my shyt and dipped. :lawd:

I used to work in Insurance as a claims adjuster and there is good money in that but the job was just depressing. I'm glad I got out when I did.

Hmm, didn't you say you used to work for Geico?

EDIT: I use to support Adjusters back in my Help Desk days....yall always seemed stressed out and didn't have time for troubleshooting..lol

I'm a Systems Administration for a Govt Agency. I haven't worked 8 hours in a day this year. I come in late, 2 hr lunch ( basketball, workout, lunch date). I Leave early. Normal work day for me is 830-3pm. With a 2 hr lunch. Don't do anything some weeks. We're always having luncheons and going away parties. I talk shyt all day, flirt and smash chicks. I took a 21k paycut for this job. It was well worth it.

:win: I hate to leave here.

8:30-3pm and A TWO HOUR LUNCH!?!?! :ohhh: Lucky b*stard!!

Pics of your day? Trains are fukking dope.

I have a few from several years ago. FRA doesn't allow us to use electronic devices on the equipment anymore. I'll post a few once I get em uploaded.

If anything, I hate the hours, we work on call. 24-7. But I get paid whether they call me or not. So as long as I go to work once every 15 days I get a full pay. Per se I worked everyday, I get paid for everyday. It's was a real blessing when the opportunity arose.

Even tho I used to clown back in the day, I'm proud of you breh.

I love my career, HR consulting. As close as it gets to a 100% meritocracy. I work independently, can work from home etc, ample vacation and what not as long as I bill my hours and serve my clients. shyt, i been here for about 11 hours now and i'm not even phased. About to go home and work remotely for another hour probably.

The greatness of it, is there is no ceiling per say...the older you get the more high profile you get because your clients would rather take advice from someone older. Plus the opportunities to take a cushy industry job will always be there.

exit opportunities gotta be good though. How intimate arte you with clients, would it be positive to leverage such relationships into corporate finance roles in particular corporations...?

The Exit opportunities can be great, even if you are at the lowest level of the company. The skills and knowledge you gain is very valuable.

I'm in a lot of contact with my clients and their administrators, via email, phone, and sometimes lunches. And it leveraging the relationships into corporate finance roles happens all the time ..

Sometimes when one of our clients learn that an employee is leaving, they hound the employee to have a meeting with them Lol.

I think in 2013 I may want to leave the banking environment and go into another sector on the corporate level. Banking/Wall Street is just a stressful environment.. Especially with Elizabeth Warren now coming into congress, everyone is shook :merchant:

Yes and Yes, it was always stressful up there.

That was my first insurance job and it kinda soured me on the industry.

Its tough because the money there is good, but that job is when I first really learned that money isn't everything.
