I'm a Systems Administration for a Govt Agency. I haven't worked 8 hours in a day this year. I come in late, 2 hr lunch ( basketball, workout, lunch date). I Leave early. Normal work day for me is 830-3pm. With a 2 hr lunch. Don't do anything some weeks. We're always having luncheons and going away parties. I talk shyt all day, flirt and smash chicks. I took a 21k paycut for this job. It was well worth it.

I hate to leave here.

That's how I used to be when I worked at Target. I hated the job. I also did bullshyt ass construction jobs, telemarketing, and worked fast food.

Glad those days are over though

i'm an IT Project Manager for a major hospital. I design and oversee installations for operating rooms and conference centers. good money (not 6 figures yet), freedom, lots of spare time, and i'm TOTALLY in control of my projects. nobody else in my department knows how to do what i do, so that makes me valuable to the organization.

I'm in the same boat. Currently a PTA bout to work on that DPT.

Only a year and a half. Im working in an outpatient clinic in a hospital. I also work a part time job at a nursing home. to you just for having another male in the profession.

Greatest job I could ask for as a college student

I worked security last year (I'm a college student too) at a Hookah bar/club in Cali, first night on the job (graveyard shift) someone nearly got shot

So I guess experiences in that field varies

Worked for 3 years in private equity real estate development building and renovating hotels. Had an owners discount card for all Marriott & Hilton owned properties. $35-40 rooms on deck.

Bout to learn Arabic (theyve got cheap classes in Dupont) and go do the same thing out in Dubai in a few years.

Keep an eye out on Qatar, they love hiring people from the West (and will pay you more based on that smh ) and they developing at a pace that basically is positioning themselves to be the "next Dubai" in the Middle East within the next decade.

Plus they already have hella hotels here, like Sheraton, Marriot, Hiltons, Ritz, Intercon, 4 Seasons, etc etc

Yeah it sucks, they exploit a lot of their workers, majority of 'em from what I've seen are South Asian (like Indians,Nepalis etc) and Filipinos. You get some African workers here and there too tho. (Ethiopians, Somalis, Sudanese)

But if you got an American/British/Canadian/Australian passport you are set to make a lot of $$$ really quickly. I think there is even an unofficial racial hierarchy that dictates this (like people all know it exists but it is one of those lowkey things), with the aforementioned nationalities along with locals being paid more on average than Indians/Pakistanis/Filipinos/etc., even with the same qualifications. I went to high school in Qatar and that salary chart actually applied to the teachers in my school, pretty crazy.

I really like my compnay, I work for a large non profit organization.

But not really loving my current position, The good thing is there is always places to move within our company, I've been here 5 years and got 4 promotions.

Probably should have kept my last position but I wanted that money...

I used to work in Insurance as a claims adjuster and there is good money in that but the job was just depressing. I'm glad I got out when I did.

I'm in automotives, parts supplier for the big industries over here. Toyota, Suzuki, ect. And it is rare to see big breasted Japanese women. But, it matters where you are at. In Nagoya or Tokyo you will see a bunch. Thats where all the brothas are at anyway, gettin up on those chicks. shyt, there are gang of Brazilians in Japan too. So you might be thinking you are getting up on a Japanese chick but then she starts speaking in Portuguese and has you like

lol.. I remeber I had a job cleaning slot machines, quit within 4 hrs, temp agency gave me a job putting sand in some machine with a shovel( I'm like wtf I thought slavery was over?!?!?) I quit on the spot


Looking back......Thank God I didnt stand for that shyt and went back to school...so blessed.
