I just got married last year
So far so good, everything has been great.
Of course everybody keeps saying "Just Wait"
As much as I want to say it won't happen to us I seen it happen to alot of couples that I wouldn't have expected.
I'm just appreciating and enjoying the good times while their here cause I might be looking back later and saying "remember when sh!t was lovely back in 12'"
My parents were together my whole life so I haven't seen the results of divorce up close but it sounds like hell.

Marriage can be a beautiful thing though no lie just dont be naive and think it can't happen too you.
I got remarried and i'm loving my it too but i dont put nothing past me at all especially since i got kids .

Long story, but let's just say there were certain signs I didn't notice until much later. Maybe she could say the same who knows.
Breh, it took me a good year, year and a half until my mind was 100% right again. There are times you'll think shyt is all good, and something pops up, and you take two steps back. I think the worst part is the fact that you've lost the trust and best friend you were supposed to have for life. All the shyt you had planned in your head, gets tossed into the bushes
shyt left me cold hearted too, I definitely fukked up with some good chicks afterwards, due to being "emotionally unavailable"
For real. I still live in the same place and have to work around different areas where we've both been socially. It took me a long time to even listen to songs and watch movies that remind me of her and even now sometimes I can't do it. It's true when people say a marriage breakup/divorce is like a bereavement but the person is still alive.
Sometimes you're glad you're finally away from the other person and other times you'll do anything just to hear their voice for five minutes. It really fukks with you and you can never be the same person again. It's made me somewhat change my perspective on a lot of things in life.....but like Guru said, from grey skies come blue and through darkness comes light. I survived before her and I'll survive after her. I don't wish anything bad on her at all, cos both parties are always at fault no matter the situation, but I'm not concerned with whatever she does with her life cos she and those fukking parents of hers ain't worrying about me.
As far as dating other chicks for the time being, I'm not that fussed right now cos I'm working on myself mentally and spiritually plus my career in IT is progressing, so all that other bullshyt can wait. When I do meet the next woman I'm not giving so much of myself away this time. I wasn't a "simp" by this boards definition, but I should have been less of a nice guy and a lot more guarded. Believe me, my wife did me a favor. Everyone tells me (I'm sure you got that too) "one day you'll fall in love again and blah blah blah", but I'm like, maybe, maybe not but this times the rules have changed. What can I say, you live and you learn.

hey think what you want bout my situation. I dont need a paper to make me being in love with a female. I didn't think i would get remarried but i made the choice myself with no regrets. Insecurities is far from it and thats def one thing i aint got

That is very true just take the time to HEAL YOUR WOUNDS and go from there if you wanna get married again later down the line go for it
If not thats just as fine too.
When you get divorced u tend to be more careful on your decisions on what you do and more cautious especially with kids involved cuz u dont want just anybody around your kids cuz it can be a very emotionally thing for them
Basically just be smart bout your future decision TAKE CARE OF YOUR KIDS FIRST and Then yourself and everything will fall in place as it should

Never been married. I had two co-workers that I'm cool with that went through it. They went through it man. One was living from his truck and bouncing from house to house, it was real bad. He didn't tell me about it for a while. The other one lost EVERYTHING, job/kids/home/car/dignity. He contemplated suicide. He didn't do it and he is doing a lot better and is very happy, still has a great relationship with his kids. I listened to a voice message that his 10 year old daughter left him. It was like "Daddy, I miss you, I love you daddy, I think about you all the time. School is going well, but I want to spend time with you. I can't wait to see you again"...This went on for about 5 minutes. It was touching brehs.
