I'm using it because that could make a difference between choosing Hakeem or Malone. We know Dream got two titles, but it was also while MJ was away. The titles are obviously a big asterisk, but Malone was the second most accomplished player of the decade. :yeshrug:

Malone wasn't though :heh:. And his HOF PG was there the whole time too. Dream was dominant on both ends for most of the decade, played a deeper, more impactful position and keyed two championship runs (one of which without a great teammate). More first team selections and 1 more MVP really cancels all that out?

Malone made ten First teams; Hakeem only made three. That's a pretty big difference. :ld:

the one got destroyed by the Magic in the Playoffs :usure:

Jordan averaged 31 ppg that series which led all scorers including penny and shaq the bulls front line got exposed and couldn't stop shaq and horace grant which is why rodman was acquired that off season, you definitely didn't watch that series

Since when did all-nba teams become the end all be all metric? All I hear about is rings every day but now it's switched to all-nba teams :mjlol:. Pretty big difference between 2 rings and 2 Finals MVPs and 2 DPOY and 0 combined.

Beyond that, Dream played a deeper position with only one spot. Malone could make first team, even with Barkley having an MVP season. Meanwhile Dream had to compete for one spot with Ewing, Robinson, and Shaq.

I'm a HUGE Hakeem fan, but let's be real....he was pretty much done by 96-97 season. And that's not a knock on him, it's just age and miles caught up.

The real answer should be either Shaq or Karl Malone.

And really it should be KArl Malone b/c he was there at the start of the 90's and in 2000 he was stil averaging 25ppg.
