Cube's peak was only 4 years and it was so amazing that you can argue he's the GOAT. That's nuts.

But what's annoying is that people think outside that peak his albums were wack or something

Laugh Now, Cry Later & Raw Footage were extremely dope albums...better than the best albums in most rappers' discographies and they came out 8-10 years ago

Even the War & Peace series has some of his best work, though not great from start to finish

Why did you pick those two?
I'm not sure, I was just thinking about and thought it would be an interesting debate.

Plus I was born in 95 so I didn't get to see them in their primes, guess I wanted some perspective. :yeshrug:

YEah he's got good albums post Lethal Injection, but nothing close to that 1988-1992 run.

Stop. Ice Cube's been terrible since 1995. Indisputable.

You don't have to be PC to satiate people, breh. Once he got tubby, grew that cuddly 'fro and started just being happy to keep pace with Snoop it was a wrap. Guerillas In The Mist was the last hurrah of great Ice Cube.

I'll go with Ice Cube

Illmatic > any Cube album but Cube's run was more powerful and consisted of 2 of the best hip hop albums of all time while Nas only had 1 throughout his whole career.
