Worked my way up, now I run a few of them.
The ops are so hit or miss with some companies. But if you get in with the right one, the work can be easy and routine, pay good without a degree.
I started at UPS...they are hit or miss depending on the operation and shift...some nights I went home drenched in sweat, others I read so many damn books on I could fill a small book shelf.
I've worked as a manager in others and put in so many hours, my employees made damn near as much as me with overtime.
Now I run about 11 warehouses remotely for a big company. Decent pay, busy as fukk, but I knew that going in. I'm strictly here for the title and experience because I can go anywhere after this and be a director for a smaller company, less work, and damn near double the money.
