Why does the rest of the world suck at basketball and football?
who the plays football outside of America. Nobody knows that sport!America just has to change its approach on cultivating talent. It's a play to pay sport. If Iceland a country of 300k calm field players america van do it as well. The fundamental structure for getting young talent has to change.
It cost like 10k a year to send a child to a serious youth club to help cultivate the talent. Next travel cost and hotel cost. Plus fees for the tournaments looking at a cool 17k to 20k a year to play soccer in America is insane. Now image if you got two kids that's a cool 40k. Only uber wealthy families can afford that!

Concussion and CTE have taken the sail out of football, and 99% stat about rich kids play it. you think by hosting the world cup in america that won't change that. If that 99% was about america, that is correct outside of america not even remotely true!

basketball is popular in more than pockets globally speaking. Probably 2nd to soccer in it's widespread reach globally and 1st out of the major USA sports

Pretty much with a dash of mexicans/central americans. You might see an occasional african or west indian too. You won't hardly see any black americans playing soccer lol.
