I keep having to remind people the ekklesia (what hispanic and latinoes call iglesia-church) was a political\religious institution with no attachment to God, but dedicated to the preservation of community and law\order. But whoever spread so called Judeo-Christianity subverted the governing and community institution called Ekklessia and injected the Abrahamic ideological framework into it to control the people, and hold sway over their minds and politics.

And it seems the papacy (not to be confused or confined with the Pontifex Maximus) was invented to exercise control over the ekklessia (a democratic institution).

I'm an atheist, couldn't care less what another man believes, although I am perplexed as to how the oppressed all over the world adopt the religion of their oppressors and think that is this world's truth.

I mean let's take the black race for example, why are black Americans Christian? Why are the northern Sudanese muslims? Why are black Saudis wahhabi muslims? Do you really think you have figured out the "true" religion and that those African brethren are brainwashed and ignorant? Well let me tell you they think the same of you, and I see the irony of it all, people who originated from the same continent, adopted the religion of their respective oppressor, and somehow end up feeling more informed about the "truth" than their brethern who adopted the religion of a rival oppressor.

I don't want to delve deep into the historic rivalry between islam and christianity, but those black muslims are mostly descendants of slaves owned by Arabs/Turks, just as Black American Christians are descendants of slaves owned by cacs in the USA.

For me it's not that I hate religion or religious people. It's Black Americans that are Christians I don't get. I'll get flamed for this on this board but most Black Americans don't look at their own history to realize Whites beat Christianity into Blacks during slavery
