Because we allowed the genre to go in the worst path imaginable. Its getting to the point where every female r and b singer got to ride a trap track and be a trap queen, rather than a woman searching for love in a cruel world. The concept of a female r and b singer singing from the soul is outdated because of many factors:

• The heads who dictate the direction of the R and B genre
• The lazy generation of artists that beg for props instead of earning them
• Money being in the whole Pop/Dance genre
• Artists not focusing on potential core bases

The only thing I can suggest is digging into the webs, pray that artists will finally wake up and see their true worth, or do what I do...listen to singers outside of this country where folks actually still give a shyt about the music.
