Why do some black people praise Cheesecake Factory as if it's 5 star?

How were they duped into thinking it was a high class spot and what made them come to the conclusion it was not?

It's not like cheesecake looks like Applebee's or some shyt. All of their restaurant are really big, very nice on the inside with a good atmosphere

Also many restaurants don't have the variety and portions of cheesecake
You just not get out much

No it isnt.

Cheesecake Factory has food from like 100 different countries and none of them are exceptional.

I rather spend 30 minutes finding a higher quality restaurant

Yeah, because we all are eating at 5 star exceptional quality restaurants every time we go out.

Whether you want to admit it or not but having such a large and varied menu is a plus in a lot of cases. There arent many places you can go where I can get some teriyaki salmon, my wife can get cajun pasta, and my sister can get a burrito, and then finish it with a selection of 20 cheesecakes.

Some of yall just act like since you found some nicer spot to eat at that you are too good to eat at a chain restaurant anymore. I can afford to eat at any steakhouse in the country but that doesnt mean I wont enjoy the Hawaiian ribeye at Houston's or even knock back one from Texas Roadhouse.

Women I thought were wifey got the Cheesecake Factory Dining experience :obama:

Looking back at it they probably were like :scust: in their heads but were like :ahh: once that dessert menu came out.

Cdfuuuu.

ME too but I was in the hood and dealing with ratchets so they ain't know better

That 2 for 20 had me eating so good back then :ohlawd:

I never made a comment about being financially better or having superior taste buds.

Look at you in ya feels.

I'm just tryna raise awareness that these corporations are tricking nikkas....and of course it is mainly blacks due to my circumstances (that's what I've grown around) so that's why I target them. I care about blacks progression and we need to inform them about these places cacs try to pass off as high class to us :manny:

I was more so commenting on the circle jerk of criticism towards the franchise in general. Blacks gravitate towards some things and white people gravitate towards other things.

Problem is, when black begin to follow something...it loses value...why is that...I can only think of one logical reason. Stop doing other people's dirty work for them.

If you don't fukk with it fine, but don't lambast people. There's more constructive ways to get your point across.

Depends on which Cheesecake you go to.

The ones in the nicer areas are gonna be better :skip:

And as far as hierarchy, Applebees ain't on the same level as Cheesecake :mjlol:

Cheesecake is with PF Chang, Maggiano's and those types of restaurants

Then there's Applebees, Chilli's, Red Lobster, Olive Garden.

Go to Yelp or Trip Advisor. You'll find some good spots without going to national chains.

They have, and I don't really eat there, but the point I'm making is that niccas always going to move the goal post once they get a little bread.

I've eaten at the finest restaurants in the city, that doesn't mean I want to eat there all the time. Sometimes a nicca is in the mood for chillis or Cheesecake Factory, no big deal.

Its not about not knowing where better spots are its about familiarity, ease of access, "decent familiar food", and variety. Could you find a spot with 20 different cheesecakes on display, sure you may be able to find a bakery that can provide that. But does that bakery also have a bar? Does that bakery also have a food menu that just about anyone can find something they like on it? Does the bakery have seating that can cater to 1 person or 20 if need be? And finally is that spot centrally located so that almost anybody can reach it in 20 minutes?

Its not always about finding the absolute best restaurants in town and eating there. If its Saturday night and my wife has no earthly idea on what type of food she wants we can go to the Cheesecake Factory and she can make up her mind there because they have a little of everything. Its much better than sitting around 30 minutes and discussing whether we want seafood, Italian, Mexican, American, etc....
convenience, ill give you that. I have eaten there and i wasn't impressed with anything that came to our table. couldn't see myself spending my own money to eat there again.
