Was gonna tell a story but fukk it. Why do women give you their number, not respond to phone calls or text messages but when they see you in person they wanna try and get your attention?

This has happened to me more than once, and I've had a chick go months of trying to get my attention after ignoring my text.

Long story short, I got this stupid thick shorty's number from my job (she's here temporarily). I see her the next day and she's acting weird and avoiding me. I didn't hit her up the same day cause I was busy doing other things. I call her the next day around 9 pm cause one of my homies popped up at my house unexpectedly. Anyways, she don't pick up then I text her shortly after telling her this is my number. Shorty never responds and when I get to work the next day she avoiding me during breaks

I wrote it off as having no interest and kept it moving, ain't got time for games or chasing chicks (let's meet in the middle). Few days later she wants to start talking again

What is it? Another nikka in the picture, fukk buddy, ex she ain't over, playing games, just want attention?

UPDATE: Seems like she expected me to hit her up over the weekend. When I got to work in the morning, she was waiting by the door. I gave her a head nod like hey and she gave me this evil glare.

By lunch time during break, she was flirting with this one dude that has been staring at me when I walk past him for the past week. Saw him talking to her before once.
