Nah these convos are that interesting to be honest. They are the same few topics over and over tbh. Colorism, Who a cac or c00n, introverts support thread, what wild stuff some white person did today, talk about how we can be better as a people with most not actually doing more than yapping online. They about the same level to me. Only difference to me is most of these cats wouldn't open their mouth IRL because its a lot of different things at play that online you can hide that you can't offline when cats actually know you. Its also stuff that folks say on here that you say offline folks clowning off top and that's why at times the stuff you hear online in general is way different than offline.

The stuff you think is interesting I would've found that on my own if I was interested in that already. Now some new music, clothes, or other random stuff I'll give you that. I do agree I don't want to hear too much about folks I don't know problems but hell I feel that way on here too when folks yacking about who they can't get dating wise man or woman.

As far as new ideas, history, music, whatever...sometimes you don't even know you had an interest until someone introduces you to something, you know?

The reality is, a lot of people just stop growing intellectually after college. The daily grind takes over, so their field of view narrows to handling what's directly in front of them.

I can't even knock that because of how tough it is to try and make your way up the food chain...but it does mean that the types of conversations you typically have with coworkers usually aren't going to be all that fruitful or meaningful...they're going to be more focused on immediate personal problems and dilemmas.

And the chances of being introduced to interesting new shyt that makes you hit the are lower because of it.

Only time I'm open with people at work is if they are open to me and I know they don't really have the power to do shyt to me.

If you work a manual labor job that doesn't require much thinking, a lack of social interaction will get you lost in your thoughts.

It goes deep. Negro spirituals used to be sung for various reasons. The main reason was not just to keep the spirits up during slavery but it kept the slave masters happy to see them singing. Imagine being at work and one wanting to be all up in your business. The world revolves around them and when you don’t reciprocate that it fukks with their psyche.

I blame black people though. It's not going to be the popular to the masses what I'm saying, but we didn't have enough "Real Black People". We could have nipped this shyt in the bud after slavery by wiping them out. No black people just kept taking whatever shyt they gave us. Medical experiments, passed by on jobs and promotions, letting banks not give us loans and the crack epidemic. If more started busting cacs asses, we wouldn't be in the situation we are in now.

So now they are so much in power that it will take a miracle to reverse these damages. Think of it this way, your boy introduces one of his cousin's to your crew and dude is standoffish, reserved, quiet, the lot. First thing you'll do is talk amongst yourselves about him and then you try and bring him out of his shell. If that dont work and he ends up affecting the squad's cohesion you push him out.
