The early 80s are generally thought of as being the last wave of generation x...we re the baby boomers kids. Now that can arguably fall within any year close to that era, but Gen X and Y tend to be that generation that were of age before the Internet, social media, wide spread cell phone use etc. I always tend to think of millenials as being anything 1990 and after.

One and done, this is not a new phenomenon.
In fact, some of the very same complaints older generations use against millennials have were levied at younger generations by their elders hundreds of years ago.
-Short attention span
-Lack of modest clothing
-Non productive
-Lack of respect for elders
