Beauty modifications are not specific to black women. This is truly a woman thing.

Does Kyle Jenner want to be black? Look at her before and after.
Praising white features and dislike of black features is common and promoted among the media and such all over the world.

Lets not be naive my dear

Shelling out big bucks to get your hair done isn’t a new thing to black women stateside. As of 2013, Mintel market research found that the Black hair care industry was a $684 million market . That estimate wildly inflates to $500 billion if extensions and sales from independent suppliers are included.

You were the one talking about what happens in LA solely and when I contest that with what Isee all of you sudden you see the stupidity in using your personal experience to generalize across a whole race? :why:

Waves are not unique to Black hair. Waves are unique to mixed and biracial people's hair. You, as a full Black man, have to go through some lengths and process to get your hair to look like that. It is not natural and you know it.

And :dead: at you telling me what you see doesn't count, then going right back to speaking on what you see to be an example of what all Black women are like. You're typing like you're bipolar. You might be losing it once and for all over there marcuz.

waves require pomade, warm water, brush and a wave cap. what's not natural about it? no lye, no glue, no
sew in, no hair w/someone elses dna required.

and waves didnt become trendy because of mixed men, come on now. look at all the products for waves, always a dark skinned nikka on the cover

Then if you agree then you should be able to see that its not a woman issue since it doesn't affect white and light skin women with white features but is something that mainly affects black women. :yeshrug:

You will not wjn this argument. It's a woman thing and we will always experiment with looks.

It's like asking men to tone it down on the sports worship.

Why cant those experimental looks not specifically be european? :yeshrug:

Or is a little bit of self discipline too much to ask for?

black women have experimenting w/wigs, lye, weaves for over 50 years. y'all cant figure out who to blame:

- white men make you hide your hair for employment
- black men wont like you with natural hair
- you just like to experiment and accessorize

i mean can yall pick one and stick to it?

chicks out here walk around w/head scarfs and sweatpants inbetween weaves. you can feel their lack of self esteem. heads down, no eye contact, nothing.

then they get that 16 inch remy, eyes all glossy from the euphoria, feeling like they rule the world. shyt is crazy.

No you guys are on a witch hunt and no sound answer will satisfy you because your egos are at stake and you do not understand what is considered normal for women.

Hair is a very small argument in the grand scheme of things and there are many components to beauty regimens around the globe and what inspires them.

Your one size fits all treatment is very flawed.
